Farmers should be advised to avail the easy bank credit schemes judicialy and to be need based. It is noted that Bank schemes are so liberised & cheap that go beyond farmers legitimate needs, the Farmers are lured to the trap by the Agents/Bank officials to fullfil thier own targets. There is double financing prevailing also. The farmers take loans beyound their legitimate agriculture expenses and become overburdened with Debt resulting all types of catastrophe.Prime Minister ji's advise might serve

I belong to Town Pinahat Distt. Agra, UP and there is no Warehouse, no Mandis to store the crops..
So i request you to announce to make warehouse and mandis so that Every farmer can store their crops at right places..

Your decision to provide compensation to farmers for damaged crops is very good. But I want to suggest you that the compensation should be deposited in the farmers' bank account directly from the centre itself so that there are no hackers in between.

B. Acquisition of small farm &waste lands :
1. Small time farmers are never able to invest on infrastructures, seeds etc. They take heavy loans & the investment being high & the value of the end products being less, they can never part with the loan – hence Suicide.
2. Acquisition of land & reimbursement towards the same, this amount can be used towards FD. The interest given should be ensured tax free. Small amounts to be given to them for their progress rather than the

Respected Sir,
A. Better Utilization of the URBAN lands.
1. Rather than small units of houses - sanctioning multi-storey buildings for residential purposes. This way we save lot of AGRI and also other lands for children to get some place to play.
2. Residential and commercial places can be created under one roof-like gaited community.
3. China has malls with multi-storey for commercial & parking purposes.
4. Avoiding small units & encroachments.

Following are few suggestions for improving farmers plight: 1. Reforms in Agriculture marketing are vere important ( use Maharashtra Agricultural Competetiveness Project as pilot). This needs political will which is lacking in all state governments. Lobbies in APMC are very strong, show guts to crush these lobbies. 2.Make alternate markets available to farmers. eg online trading with pledge loan scheme.3.Mechnisation in agriculture is another important field where innovations should be tried.
