Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will share his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ with the farmers of India on 22nd March 2015.

The Prime Minister is very keen to interact with his farmer sisters and brothers across India and would also like to hear their thoughts, ideas and insights on a wide range of issues relating to agriculture. He has requested farmers across India to write to him and send letters to ‘Mann Ki Baat, Akashvani, Sansad Marg, Delhi – 110001’. Some farmers can ask the Prime Minister their question directly during the episode.

MyGov also gives you all this wonderful opportunity to contribute through ideas and inputs for the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ episode with India’s hardworking farmers.

The PM has repeatedly said that India cannot progress until the farmers of the Nation progress and has assured that the Centre will leave no stone unturned in ensuring the agricultural progress of India.

Sir, Govt data shows cost of production of wheat is around Rs 22,000 per hectare, and income from that for UP farmer is Rs 44,950, Haryana & Punjab 66,700. Like wise paddy farming income per hectare is almost same. Cost of milk production is approx. 53 per Kg but in market,at 45. Kindly do favour to farmers by doing something concrete rather than giving lollipop. Govt rate of daily wages is rs 156 per day which is better income than farming. They do not need subsidy but respectable return.

We believe agriculture to grow like industry, so that farmers earns like any industry does. We do not support hike in land cost on account of acquisition causing sever hardship to non-farmers population, instead farmers may be offered agriculturally developed more fertile land [availability of ground water and water supply, electricity, transport etc] in exchange against acquisition. Such approach will not only put stop to ever increasing land cost, but also help entire civilization a lot.

Sir, when i see street-lights on during broad daylight full day, i think of the villages in the dark due to power shedding. Government is spending lot of money in advertisements to create awareness and taking initiatives like LED bulbs to save electricity. Someday, I hope, that our officers can make sure that streetlights are off during during day time when Sun is blessing our streets.

Everyone say India's main work is farming but in India farmers life..., now a days farmers working at ATM watchman, apartment security, etc. everyone afraid of farming. we our self harming them by pollution & etc. but he is the person giving food for us. we dependent on farmers never help them. everyone's goals doctor, engineer, lawyer & etc. very few are farmers its because of govt support over farmers.
