Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will share his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ with the farmers of India on 22nd March 2015.

The Prime Minister is very keen to interact with his farmer sisters and brothers across India and would also like to hear their thoughts, ideas and insights on a wide range of issues relating to agriculture. He has requested farmers across India to write to him and send letters to ‘Mann Ki Baat, Akashvani, Sansad Marg, Delhi – 110001’. Some farmers can ask the Prime Minister their question directly during the episode.

MyGov also gives you all this wonderful opportunity to contribute through ideas and inputs for the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ episode with India’s hardworking farmers.

The PM has repeatedly said that India cannot progress until the farmers of the Nation progress and has assured that the Centre will leave no stone unturned in ensuring the agricultural progress of India.

Sir, with the help of any good NGO which may have wide presence in rural areas, a helpline can be started to guide desperate farmers who incur debt and do not find way to come out of it. The aim of such a helpline can be to dissuade farmer from committing suicide.

RESPECTED PM, I HAVE FEW SUGGESTIONS ON LAND ACQUISITION BILL. 1> COMPENSATION SHOULD BE MADE RIGHT OF FARMER 2> GOVT FIRSTLY SHOULD UTILIZE THE ALREADY OCCUPIED LAND 3> AS FAR AS POSSIBLE ACQUISITION OF THE MULTI CROP LAND SHOULD NOT BE DONE, AND IN RARE CASE THE LAND OF BIGGER FARMER SHOULD BE OCCUPIED WHO HAVE ENOUGH LAND OR THEY ARE ECONOMICALLY MORE STRONG.

Dear Sir, I am the Son of a farmer. I would like to say that even the electricity is available in my and nearby villages up to more than 10 hours, we are not getting adequate voltage (220 V) to run our equipments. Even the fan's air can't reach the bed. Smaller pumps can't pump a bucket of water from the ground. 100W Bulbs glow very low and CFLs sometimes go off due to low voltage. It is useless. We often get failure of our equipments and buying new ones sucks money. Please do something.

sir, the farmers need to be protected and the proportionate expenditure of gdp on agriculture should also be increased four fold though it is true only farming will not help in conclusive growth but is a major parter of growth because maximum population of this overcrowded country depends on agro works. farm insurance should be given to protect them against natural clamities like the one we had this month. country cannot develop if farmers are left bankrupt. give easy term loans at subsidised

govt housing for needy in rural places, need planing, identical property marking, roads, drainage, water pipeline before.priority needed to be given to unemployed poor, with that some responsibility to be fixed to make them work, motivate with job ideas, previous govt policies made poor worker lazy, they don't want to work but want every facility without any participation, truth is worker prefer to remain idle, unless we review govt scheme no real productivity emerge for healthy India,

Agricultural capital of the world .There is no country which is focusing on agricultural growth? , which country is promoting agricultural universities ? Let India be the anwer for these questions. we have IIT,IIM..etc BUT NOT IIA (INDIAN INSTITUTE OF AGRICULTURE) WHY NOT?Let world depend on India for agriculture.Every college student should work on fields for at least 2 days a year.Start one IIA with world class laboratories and facilities and you will see Powerful India.
