Our country has made significant progress in bringing down the number of death among children below 5 years. However the number of child deaths is still very high. Children are particularly vulnerable to malnutrition and infectious diseases, many of which can be prevented and managed with appropriate timely interventions. Through this platform Department of Health Research/ Indian Council of Medical research invites suggestions, views, best practices, innovative ideas to be tested through research to improve health of children and prevent avoidable deaths.

Sir the areas having the worst cases should be identified on a priority basis and they should receive emergency attention. The real cause of infant mortality will vary from region to region .In some areas inadequate and non hygienic baby care practices may be the reason whereas in others it could be malnutrition and remedial measures applied.Generally we should increase the number of health care workers in rural areas.People should be made aware of the services of Healthcare professional in

Budget allocation for health sector be increased.Monile medical units be deployed near slums for providing free medical aid including medicine to the poor children.Similar faclities be extended in remote villages and rural primary schools. Free medicine and treatment for all BPL children be introduced in all rural health centres and block level hospitals.Parents be made aware of the need for regular health check of children through use of mass media and public announcement.

Honourable & Respected Sir, Please arrange and meet Mr. Anna Hazare ji before his agitation start. Please amend the present land acquisition bill. 1. Make sure that no farmer will be forced to sell his land which is good for cultivation. 2. The land which u buy mostly should be barren. 3. The land which is necessary to acquire for some particular project, than make good rehabilitation arrangements for those people who are living there. Provide them new good small scale business or trades.

my view on this is first of all to create awareness to parents.Then healthy atmosphere in house.Children must take care by their parents in giving nutritious food and be given courage when children are in unhealthy and try to understand them to face the problems. children must hear what the elders tell them in daily activities.They must go to school and learn how to live in a hygienic way of life.

Sir, certain changes has to made for getting medical reimbursements from E.S.I.C for hospitalizing in private hospitals. The procedure is too much complicated & terms & conditions are hardly convincing. The procedure some how supports in only in favor of E.S.I.C. & not for the person who is claiming for reimbursement.
