9.India's and Australia's links date back to many millions of years; we are both part of the INDO-AUSTRALIAN TECTONIC PLATE. Australian continent is moving towards Asia at 2cm/year andAustralian aborigines are closely related to many Indian tribes.We should strive to move Indian and Australian communities closer to each other by 1000km/year so in 5 yr we will have a strong relationship, thus expanding Indian influence into the Asia-Pacific

Regular IND-AUS MARITIME EXERCISES; Indo-Aus-Indonesia trilateral presence & monitoring of Malacca strait 8.Adopt Australian 100 POINT IDENTITY CHECK system in India 9.Adopt Australia ROAD TRAFFIC RULES in India

1. Allow DUAL CITIZENSHIP - will encourage better ties between overseas Indians and their motherland, create a sense of pride about our nation, enable more trade,commerce & tourism 2.Parliament should make clear SURROGACY LAWS; will control exploitation of Indian women,help Australians wanting to have children & encourage medical tourism 3.Adopt the Australian technology of maintaining lawns and grass cover in bare areas;will minimize pollution of air & water,prevent run-off of rain water.

I Like to mention about Education system in India,and the hurdles students face when applying to Australian Universities for MS or Research. Especially In Bangalore University, even the 1st rank holder will be getting around 80-85% aggregate. But many Australian Universities say the min % needed is 85%.This is totally unfair.Most of the students because of these varied university systems, cannot even be in the race, forget about winning a place.Indian education system must be unified for grades.

Indians targeted by Aussies. You shld talk abt it diplomatically. Aussies have wrong opinion abt India - not so clean, corrupt nation, crowded. It needs to changed and Aussies should consider India as tourist destination. I'm sure tourism is major source of income for them and we should try to implement the same here with their help. Many intellectuals,top brains from India settled there. We should request those ppl contribute for the development of India. We should request Aussies to invest.

Australia is a very important source of good quality coal. Considering the coal crisis in India, the Govt. should look at imports from Australia as a back up till such time the crisis here is resolved. This can be done by Govt.negotiating long term competitive bulk rates,importing coal to 3 or 4 strategic locations & stocking. This will enable reliable stable supply to small producers of power all across the country & help minimize the power sector crisis.

Another thing that can be done is joint r & d of off road or rough terrain vehicles, also Australians can be encouraged to open paleontology universities at subsidized rates, of late Indian cuisine is big in Australia, we can create food tours in India wherein a bus takes people to authentic food centres, a 'taste of India' campaign perhaps

Sir, the education system in india is still outdated and it's not tuned towards employment. Australia has among the finest vocational education training VET system that has replaced college degrees and it aims at creating employment Imdly. Pls change the system in india to this so that skills can be developed instead of mere degrees that becomes employable. With "make in india" campaign we will feel face huge shortage of human skills soon n this can be addressed thru an employment orientedVET.

Dear Sir, as we all know that Australia is one of the hottest destination for our students for higher education, so we can have a tie up with Australia to setup there universities in India, this will help to retain are talent with us & even increase the quality of education even the money outflow will reduce & we can even attract worldwide students to get education in India. It will create ample job opportunities across all the sector in India.

Please simplify the visa/oci/pio process. It is so complex, time consuming and annoying. Apart from having OCI and valid indian visa, we have a fear to enter into the country especially with the bad experience we had in the past. We avoid to travel to india especially for this reason, however due to family comitment we have no choice.
