My vote goes in favor of promoting Non Formal Education(NFE), Formal Education(FE) demands both good money and defined time frame and it is not so surprising that a great population in our country is unable to pursue FE just because of these two critical reasons. Although I completely agree that NFE should meet desired quality and standards. There are many Societies all over world and in INDIA too which have been serving the nation since many years. In INDIA IEI, AeSI, etc. are some of those.

Open and Distance Learning education and degrees are plagued by poor quality, degree being sold by peanuts by private and deemed universities and by few state universities like KSOU and universities in south India. UGC, AICTE as well as DEB has miserably failed to control this. There are no clear framework on offering various courses. There are few institutes who are exceptionally well in providing quality education but almost 95% of them are just doing it to make money.

Pls rrerecognize the AMIE degree from MHRD

i vote for quality distance education, i hope AMIE courses maintaining it from many decades.now its recognition is in dilemma. there are lakhs of students gets affecting from MHRD decision of withdrawal of its recognition. i plead MHRD and other related officials to form a high level comity to review AMIE standards, as well as to recommend if anything there to update.But please don't kill the futures of thousands of highly brilliant individuals who are unable in taking regular engg course.

AMIE should be encouraged as it has been serving the nation from many decades in the field of technology.

Distance Learning Programmes from renowned institutions must be encouraged. Everybody doesn't gets the privilege to study regular programme. So if renowned institutes offer more correspondence and online programmes, this would help many students to avoid having gap in there studies.

Promotion of distance education is required to be in some different view,as Courses must be defined, and the selected university Degrees must have a facility for taking business loan and start there own business, because only this will encourage #DistanceLearning and its #Value.

AMIE need to be encouraged.

Under AICTE many engg colleges are sanctioned in past 10 years. Colleges are doing corporate business with that now the lot seats are not filled in frankly speaking AICTE or Govt of India supporting them.Al together doing these nonsense things like no distance education.Gov of India playing with the lifes of Diploma holders.Govt shall work for public not for corporates.If this kind of education system is wrong why the Gov India close their eye until now.The Govt should encourage people to study

Think once and see the history of India. 1918 Institute of Engineers started with a mission and vision to develop a quality engineers for industrial revolution in India.At that time how many engg colleges are available?How many of them are capable to work for industries? Most of them graduated from this institute and contributed their services to India like defense,space research,industries everywhere.Now how you can say its not recognized by Govt.
