Modiji ODL and online courses are necessary as there are number of students who can’t complete their studies due to marriage or other family problems. But the classes should be handled by qualified or retired teachers on holidays and sufficient contact classes were also arranged in institutions with facilities. All classes including the examinations were monitored by a committee.

Assessment: Currently we took test for student on paper, by which he do not have experienced to practical world. Practicals shud play a vital part in assessment in each & every area of study. there is required to introduce and stdnt free to choose out of various IT course (areas like E Publish, Basic software language, Hardware software, Microsoft office, what industries demands now a days) upto 10th class. It will be a miracle if we produce skilled labour in 15 years of age than 23 as today.

Our basic education (upto class VIII) in india is grossly affected towards more informatory education through books rather focusing on skills. I have eleaborated following problems with the solutions that can be given: Prob: Students study more books, still they are fighting to develop any skill. if you want in one shot to clean many things you please make mandatory to all govt official children to study in govt school and whole family treatment mandatory in govt hospital only. if any one is disagreed with this they should be sacked from the govt job immediate effect. only one year pipeline time should be given to implement this project. Sir, distance learning has its own set of problems - poor study material, inadequate contact classes, ill-prepared faculty & questionable exams. The concept of online courses is catching on with free certificate courses from recognisable centres, full courses with virtual class rooms even from highly rated institutions - NU Singapore, Cornell, LSE and even from world bank & WHO. Online courses are the way to go, but we need credible institutions in the first place, capable of taking on the task.
