In the past three years, the Government has endeavoured to remove corruption in every form and technology presents itself as one of the most potent tools. But, technological interventions work when the interventions are simple, transparent and include a public feedback mechanism. Utilising advancements in technology, the Government is following a multi-pronged strategy to tackle the problem in an effective manner

1. Transferring benefits directly to beneficiaries
2. Making government procurements transparent
3. Digitization of service deliveries
4. Promoting Cashless Transactions
5. Jan Bhagidari
6. Open Government Data

Direct Benefit Transfer was a significant step towards plugging leakages. Amount transferred via DBT is increasing and leakages are reducing. The government has laid equal emphasis on citizens getting Aadhaar. The Jan Dhan-Aadhaar-Mobile (JAM) trinity will bring complete accountability in monetary transactions and eliminate ghost beneficiaries.

Additionally, Government e-Marketplace (GeM) was launched to make government procurements simple and transparent, eliminating any scope of corruption. Faceless e-assessment for income tax payers introduced from 2018 was another important step. Tax officers now communicate with the taxpayers through the ‘E-Proceeding' facility which reduces human interface.

The fight against corruption is a long and arduous one. Various online platforms have been introduced by the government, wherein the citizens can join forces with them by sharing their feedback and views. The decision to involve the honest citizens of our country in the fight increases the strength of the force against corruption to a great extent.

In the same vein, MyGov invites citizens to share their ideas on how technology can be used to uproot corruption and suggest innovations to fight the malice in an effective manner. Ideas and suggestions can be provided in the form of a comment below or by attaching a PDF document.

Ma. Mere vichar se corruption me pakde gaye vyakti ki aur usse sambandhit sabhi ki sari sampatti jaisi bhi ho sarkar jama kar dena chahiye aur us vyatiper koi karvai nahi hona chahiye kyoki karvai mein bahut jagah vyakti nirdosh choot jate hain aur sarkar ka Paisa aur vakt barbad hota hai aisa niyam banna chahiye isse 100 pratishat corruption khatma ho jayega. Shukriya

I think, Govt should think about rollback Driving License for L.M.V & Motorcycle / Bike (Except heavy personal and Commercial vehicles) only. Nowadays, Every person are known it very well but Age must be mandatory for driving these vehicle i.e. above 18+ Yrs as remain. All of have must carry age proof alongwith RCs. With this step, Traffic Corruption must be stopped and major public have been relaxed. #MyGov #Corruption Thanks

Those found guilty of corruption, money laundering, and embezzling public money must be hanged till death after recovering the looted booty, then only it may prove deterrent. The cancer of corruption in public sector depts, govt depts has so deeply spread that unless the cancerous portion, i.e. corrupts are eliminated or removed from civilised society, no cure is possible. After independence, the antinational dacoit congress and its allies destroyed this country by adopting corrupt practices.

#DEPLOYING SMART TECHNOLOGY:- "Just as government-induced distortions provide many opportunities for corruption, it is also the case that frequent, direct contact between government officials and citizens can open the way for illicit transactions. One way to address this problem is to use readily available technologies to encourage more of an arms-length relationship between officials and civil society; in this respect the Internet has been proved to be an effective tool to reduce corruption

Also your Swach Bharat campaign is not a success as you hype it through various media. I have seen several toilets which were not used or maintained. What is the use of spending public money without proper audit of those facilities. I dont know how this Swach Bharat Survey which is done is efficient.

To eliminate corruption we need to weed out the roots first. Only peripheral solutions will not work. The first and foremost root of corruption is the so-called 'Reservation Policy'. I appreciate the efforts being made by the Ministry of HRD towards establishing a proper Indian identity by way of researching our ancient history and establishing the facts vis-a-vis fictions. Once identity is sorted, reservations will be sorted out for sure.

My ideas for reducing corruption in India are as follows 1) Make judiciary system more stronger with stringent punishments for those deviating laws 2) Reduce the number of political parties in each state and also caste based political parties should be banned 3) Attach Aadhar with Voter-id so that the election cost can be contained. Just by pressing the index finger against the party symbol, the vote should be casted and a message should be sent to his registered mobile number with uidai.
