IDS 2016 was introduced by Hon Prime Minister to give an oppurtunity to come clean. Many declarants who have deposited full amount of tax due along with interest for delay period in one instalment are not accepted by CBDT only on ground that there is no provision of interst in IDS 2016.
In IT act any delay in deposit of tax due is penalised by interest for delay period.
A person who has voluntarly deposited full tax and ineterst should not be dealt so harshly by rejecting

going digital is the only way sir...make all employees work towards creating a QR code based ecosystem and providing vending machines with the help of aadhar some documents such as residence proof, birth certificate and other important certificates. self declaration is the need of the hour and vending machines based on population ration should be provided in every village, urban areas and tribal areas.

I was watching on TV the sad images of crops damaged by hailstorm in Rajasthan. While farmers will need almost immediate relief, the machinery involving agricultural officers, Panchayats, insurance company surveyors will be stretched to complete the assessment in a short period. This delay will cause heartburn’s to the farmers.
Why can’t the agricultural holding records be geo tagged. It’s a simple technology. The geotagged landholdings can easily be surveyed through satellite images.

Most of the corruption which affects general public is when they have to make certificates (Birth, residence, Income, caste).
a) Residence certificate: can be issued online by accessing person's GPS location(of past several months) and to authenticate the person we can use fingerprint simultaneously.
b)Income certificate: As aadhar has been mandated to be linked with bank accounts, we can use this data to estimate actual income before issuing income certificate.

1)Corruption in lodging FIRs: Use mobile Applications to lodge FIRs, submit evidence. We can use Aadhar Id to authenticate whether the complainant is a genuine or fake user.
2)Issuing driving licenses: A lot of driving licenses are issued without even presence of the driver. Face recognition(to detect whether the same person is sitting behind the wheels or not) along with car's motion tracking can be used to issue a driving license to only those person who clears the test.

Use of foreign language ie English is the root cause of corruption in India. It has created a gap between people and distanced them from govt due to excessive use of english everywhere.
Here too, Govt is asking for suggestions in English which is not a common man's language.
We need to create a new India with least use of English and develop technologies that does not necessiate english. Technology to Remove english from routine chores be encouraged.
