In the past three years, the Government has endeavoured to remove corruption in every form and technology presents itself as one of the most potent tools. But, technological interventions work when the interventions are simple, transparent and include a public feedback mechanism. Utilising advancements in technology, the Government is following a multi-pronged strategy to tackle the problem in an effective manner

1. Transferring benefits directly to beneficiaries
2. Making government procurements transparent
3. Digitization of service deliveries
4. Promoting Cashless Transactions
5. Jan Bhagidari
6. Open Government Data

Direct Benefit Transfer was a significant step towards plugging leakages. Amount transferred via DBT is increasing and leakages are reducing. The government has laid equal emphasis on citizens getting Aadhaar. The Jan Dhan-Aadhaar-Mobile (JAM) trinity will bring complete accountability in monetary transactions and eliminate ghost beneficiaries.

Additionally, Government e-Marketplace (GeM) was launched to make government procurements simple and transparent, eliminating any scope of corruption. Faceless e-assessment for income tax payers introduced from 2018 was another important step. Tax officers now communicate with the taxpayers through the ‘E-Proceeding' facility which reduces human interface.

The fight against corruption is a long and arduous one. Various online platforms have been introduced by the government, wherein the citizens can join forces with them by sharing their feedback and views. The decision to involve the honest citizens of our country in the fight increases the strength of the force against corruption to a great extent.

In the same vein, MyGov invites citizens to share their ideas on how technology can be used to uproot corruption and suggest innovations to fight the malice in an effective manner. Ideas and suggestions can be provided in the form of a comment below or by attaching a PDF document.

The Indian Government’s Unique Identification Number initiative of gathering biometric and demographic data of all Indian residents and linking it with social benefits like public distribution system entitlements is a good example to plug such Leakages [in entitlements like old age pension, unemployment doles, benefits like food coupons, healthcare, and more happen because of the lack or inaccessibility of social sector data.]

Hi, To eradicate corruption focus on root cause. first most reason AWARENESS: In govt. offices if we aware of process and exact person responded means We won't prefer to give money. Second is TIME: Some documents to get. It will take time. Then we will search for alternative ways. If any mandatory link like aadhar if we want birth certificate also we able to see. then we can eradicate corruption. Thanks

Mei ajj Akshardam Ashram gya aur ye meri pheli visit thi whn.Mei ek baat dekha bhta haran hua ki whn mobile phones n camers allow nhi hein. kya humare pass aisi technologies nhi hein jin sy hum logon k mobiles n camera submit kiya bina security ka dhyan rakh sake.Mei ye isliye khe rha hu ki jo insaan foreign sy 1000 miles dour sy aya hai humari sabyeat ko dekhne wo wpis ja k kya dikhaye apne whn k logon ko ki maine Bharat main kya dekha.kaise explore kare ga agey humeri Sabyaet ko.Plz think it.

Corruption is like ball of snow ones it set rolling it must increses so we have to deal with it very carefully 1.like ola cabs gov should create a community to escape corrupted people secretly 2 with in a week or month every citizen should send a msg of BE HONEST & FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTION 3. Instead of giving punishment to the corrupted person we should give reward to the person who inform about these corrupted people and help in to catch them

school,कॉलेज में स्टूडेंट के द्वारा ही CASHLESS payment करने की व्यवस्था होनी चाहिए |हर स्टूडेंट का बैंक अकाउंट होना चाहिए |और सारा payment कैशलेस RuPay कार्ड से हो | शिक्षण संस्थाओं में Cash payment पर रोक हो ,और दंड की व्यवस्था भी हो |कोचिंग संस्थाओं में अगर 500 बच्चे पढ़ते है तो income 100 छात्रों की दिखाते है | अब तो सरकारी Teacher,सरकारी अधिकारी भी कोचिंग पढ़ा रहे है वो भी बिना License के |कॉलेज में पढ़ाते नहीं ,कोचिंग में पढ़अते है |सरकारी अधिकारी,कर्मचारी चोरी छिपे कोचिंग पढ़ा रहे है 700Rs .

स्कूल,कॉलेज,कोचिंग आदि शिक्षण संस्थानों में cash payment पर प्रतिबन्ध लगा देना चाहिए,school और college अनेक कार्यों के लिए students से cash जबरजस्ती वसूलते है जैसे- Tour Fees,Farewell Party Fee,Suvidha Fee.etc और इसकी Recipt भी नहीं देते है |तीन-चार दिन के टूर के लिए कम से कम 2 LACK से भी ज्यादा fee वसूलते है |इसको college की इनकम में भी नहीं दिखाते है |

sir most of govt department keeps their data or documents secret due to fake reasons..all data, lists,applications for various schemes must be online and accessible to all , all payments by govt department must be online directly into supplier accounts..this will prevent corruption..
