There is a need to put in place a School Quality Assessment and Accreditation System to cover all aspects of school functioning, including scholastic and co-scholastic domains, physical infrastructure, faculty management, school leadership, learning outcomes and satisfaction of pupils and their parents/ guardians. Better governance structures in schools striking a balance between mandating and persuading, training of district and block-level education officers as well as head teachers for better management practices, on using data to better monitor and support school performance, and to mobilise community resources and efforts to improve school performance. What are the current experiences and how can they be bettered to achieve tangible results.

There should be an assessment of school teachers, their performance, attitude. In many local government schools, a large number of teachers are interested in anything but teaching and some way or the other way discourage children not to come to school. Such student's parents are of lower class of society and in no position to anyhow protest.

Portfolio based assessment must be essential for assessment in different domain of learning. it is being practiced in western country . in UK class 2 nd students are aware about portfolio

introduce concept of social audit. system e.g during exams student are asked to move to different centers ,same way allow audit of schools by each other , but not one to one exchange. Also senior student e.g university student evaluating elementary schools. Put details of all government school and aided schools on common website with photographs, number of toilet etc. Lot of time officials play because of lack of data in the system.

Rate all schools according to different parameters every five years. Not by conducting one-time inspection but by reviewing the performance of the school ( Not performance of students only but performance of teachers, management officials, other staff, atmosphere, infrastructure, teaching practices, etc.) throughout the five-year term.

Implementation of "GURUKUL", the old Indian schooling system with modern style will lead to skill development as well as better results from upcoming bright generation of the country. Problem 1. Lack of Intent on part of schools for student development; rather; in collecting fees, donations etc Problem 2. Quality of teachers is seriously declining !! Just anyone is appointed. Even if a teacher is well-qualified,is knowledgeable , what about his/her soft skills (a major problem, which goes unchecked)

Its a complain to MHRD smriti ji. I am a student from mizoram university, n my complain that in our university i.e Mizoram University,AIZWAL they are cooking pork and beef in canteen along with in our hostel (pork) , now problm is that max. Of student are hindu in engineering hostel so how can we eat this???? And as for information we knw in university pork and beef are not allowd . So madam kindly can u look after these problms as soon as possible... And we don't even get good quality of food.. Plzz mam look after these plzzzzz. The managment process is very very poor

Moral books should be must up to class 8 and these books should include the stories of GREAT INDIANS LIKE SWAMI VIVEKANAND,RANI LAKSHMIBAI,SUBHASH CHANDRA BOSE,BHAGAT SIGH,CHANDRA SHEKHAR AZAD,DR,A P J ABDUL KALAM ,PANNA AND RAJA HARISH CHANDRA AND MANY MORE.Let the students imbibe the values of GREAT INDIANS from their childhood.

First of all we have to improve the management.For this we have to take the services of best IT Companies.There should be perfect coordination between all the school and education department.Ranking of school is must on the basis of their infrastructure,ideal teacher-student ratio,Salaries of teachers and other administrative staff.In this way we can monitor the quality of school and can attract the best talent in this profession.
