India Science (www.indiascience.in) is an Internet-based science Over-The-Top (OTT) TV channel. It is an initiative of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt of India , implemented and managed by Vigyan Prasar (VP), an autonomous organisation of Department of Science and Technology. This 24x7 video platform is dedicated to science and technology knowledge dissemination, with a strong commitment to spreading scientific awareness especially with Indian perspectives, ethos and cultural milieu. The initiative is supported by National Council of Science and Technology Communication (NCSTC), DST.

Science and Technology are the main driving forces of the nation and fundamental to the progress and growth. But there is a distinct difference between “science” and “scientific”.

Every individual gets a chance to construct upon his/ her ideas, and society can get benefited. Such activities should be encouraged by private and public institutions.

The northeast which gets torrential rain and they have to cultivate – climatic changes are making the whole of south India getting such a situation these days. How are they managing

Agriculture is such a field, wherein the govt should support any idea on sustainability science. A lot of young farmers might have good ideas / different culture have different habits which are scientific and sustainable – especially

Science is not just for the kids and the students. There should be an opportunity for the people who are there in the industry and want to do some studies which are not in direct conflict of interest with the organization they are working.

The deserts have very little water and how they handle such a situation. The rain shadow areas in the north and also the south are becoming deserts how conserving resources and do not overexploit the natural resources is something to learn.

all the plans of nda govt to make progress in science and technology will never materliaze if BJP loses touch with the ground reality. if India doesn't have internal stability, no progress in science will happen. I urge the PM to step in and accept every demand of the farmers to end this stand off today. To bring new changes and reforms, capable and effective cabinet ministers are needed and BJP has so many leaders like no other party. time is to bring them to the front to communicate better !
