India Science (www.indiascience.in) is an Internet-based science Over-The-Top (OTT) TV channel. It is an initiative of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt of India , implemented and managed by Vigyan Prasar (VP), an autonomous organisation of Department of Science and Technology. This 24x7 video platform is dedicated to science and technology knowledge dissemination, with a strong commitment to spreading scientific awareness especially with Indian perspectives, ethos and cultural milieu. The initiative is supported by National Council of Science and Technology Communication (NCSTC), DST.

Science and Technology are the main driving forces of the nation and fundamental to the progress and growth. But there is a distinct difference between “science” and “scientific”.

Science- subject, it related to defined field-physics chemistry biology math etc Scientific-farsightedness, it related to any field -science, Arts, commerce, history, spiritual things etc

प्रिय महोदय जेसा कि आप वैज्ञानिक और विज्ञान को भारत में बढ़ावा देना चाहते हैं तो इसमें अहम बातों का होना अति आवश्यक है जैसे कि भाषा यदि भारतीय लोग हिंदी बोलना और समझना आसान समझते हैं तो उनके लिए विज्ञान और वैज्ञानिक होना कोई बड़ी बात नहीं है लेकिन विज्ञान और वैज्ञानिक अंग्रेजी भाषा का इस्तेमाल करते रहेंगे तो भारत में विज्ञान को बढ़ावा कम ही मिलेगा क्योंकि हम जैसे कुछ लोग अंग्रेजी भाषा को समझने में अधिक समय लगाते रहेंगे तो वैज्ञानिक और विज्ञान की बात कैसे कर पाएंगे

One Billion& More Indians MUST INTOSPECT& must ask the QUESTION, "Why despite having 125 Billion Indians, WE have ONLY One India trained Nobel Laureate Great CV Raman while all other Indians less than ten of them GOT NOBEL Prize while wOrking in USA or Europe!!! WHY?BECAUSE our education system after independence WAS LOW GRADE and NES TO BE Revamped Completely& MUST ADOPT OUR OWN GURUKULAM SYSTEM that was in place since 20000 years till foreign invaders wrecked us! SHAME

science and scientific both differ from each other, one deals with the critical thinking where as, other deals with the method involving the laws and concepts of science, These both terms are two sides of a coin as because without knowing the science involved behind a work you cant apply the laws and perform the work with scientific approach, These terms will help the youth to understand that every wonder of earth which amaze us have a scientific explanation we just need to think scientifically
