India Science (www.indiascience.in) is an Internet-based science Over-The-Top (OTT) TV channel. It is an initiative of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt of India , implemented and managed by Vigyan Prasar (VP), an autonomous organisation of Department of Science and Technology. This 24x7 video platform is dedicated to science and technology knowledge dissemination, with a strong commitment to spreading scientific awareness especially with Indian perspectives, ethos and cultural milieu. The initiative is supported by National Council of Science and Technology Communication (NCSTC), DST.

Science and Technology are the main driving forces of the nation and fundamental to the progress and growth. But there is a distinct difference between “science” and “scientific”.

Science is a systematic enterprise that builds and organizes knowledge in the form of testable explanations and predictions about the universe. The earliest roots of science can be traced to Ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia in around 3500 to 3000 BCE.

अध्यात्म से लेकर भौतिक सुखों तक सभी क्षेत्रों में वैज्ञानिक दृष्टिकोण के आधार पर ही आगे बढ़ा जा सकता है। आज के इस वैज्ञानिक युग में हम भाग्यशाली हैं कि हमारे देश में मानसिक समस्याओं को अध्यात्म से और शारीरिक एवं भौतिक (सांसारिक) समस्या का समाधान विज्ञान के द्वारा तुरंत संभव है। इसलिए हम सभी भारतीयों का नैतिक कर्तव्य है कि हम अपने अर्जित अनुभवों से देश के सांस्कृतिक आर्थिक एवं राजनैतिक उत्थान के लिए निरंतर परिश्रम करें और परम वैभवशाली राष्ट्रीय आकांक्षाओं को प्राप्त करने में अपना अहम भूमिका निभाए

Awareness and competitive interest to be created among students in science and technology by conducting national level competitions and seminars ,for rightly using their interest to support career growth and services to use for society. It will be more interesting to see the spirit of youth while exhibiting their hidden talents .

संविधान वर्णित नागरिकों के 11 मूल कर्तव्यों में 8 वें यह अपेक्षा की गई है कि हम वैज्ञानिक दृष्टिकोण का विकास करें।अतः यह हम सभी का फर्ज है।ताकि पिछड़ापन दूर हो व समाज व राष्ट्र का नव निर्माण हो।हमारी सोच समुन्नत हो।रोजमर्रा की जिंदगी में वैज्ञानिकता के समावेश से समस्याएं सुलझेंगी,हमारे विचार तर्क की कसौटी पर खरे उतरेंगे।समय व श्रम का अपव्यय रुकेगा।बेहतर परिणाम मिलेंगे।वैज्ञानिकता के सूर्य से हमारी उन्नति में बाधक रहे अंधविश्वास का अंधेरा मिटेगा।अतःयह समय की मांग और वक्त का तकाजा है।- हरि विष्णोई

Science is very huge word, and it is a power that can be displayed by everyone.. ✨ Science exibhishions should be held again and again for students, live seminars should be also held.
