India Science (www.indiascience.in) is an Internet-based science Over-The-Top (OTT) TV channel. It is an initiative of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt of India , implemented and managed by Vigyan Prasar (VP), an autonomous organisation of Department of Science and Technology. This 24x7 video platform is dedicated to science and technology knowledge dissemination, with a strong commitment to spreading scientific awareness especially with Indian perspectives, ethos and cultural milieu. The initiative is supported by National Council of Science and Technology Communication (NCSTC), DST.

Science and Technology are the main driving forces of the nation and fundamental to the progress and growth. But there is a distinct difference between “science” and “scientific”.

हमारे पूर्वजौ के पास भी विज्ञान था कहि हद तक योग से मिलता जुलता आज भी हम जब अपने ग्रथो को पढ़ते है तब पाते ही की वह प्रकति को अपने हिसाब से इस्तेमाल करते थे और तो और प्रकति को हतियार तक बना लेते थे आज भी हम सब वही चाहते है पर विज्ञान के सहारे योग तो मेडिकल से जुड़ गया है इसलिए हमारा योग विज्ञान नही बन सका जबकि पूर्वजौ का योग विज्ञान था

आज का युग विज्ञान का युग है। और हम हर रूप से विज्ञान पर निर्भर हैं। हमारी हर छोटी बड़ी जरूरत वैज्ञानिक प्रद्यौगिकी से जुड़ी है। यही नहीं बल्कि हर व्यक्ति में एक वेज्ञानिक का रूप है। कभी कभी साधारण व्यक्ति भी बड़े काम कर जाते हैं। पर उनको ओर उनके काम को बढावा दिया जाना चाहिए। और आज विज्ञान की वजह से ही सब बच्चे घर बैठे ऑनलाइन क्लास कर अपनी पड़ाई कर रहे हैं। जो कि तकनीकी की सबसे बड़ी देन है।इसलिए विज्ञान और वैज्ञानिक मनोवृति एक दूसरे के पूरक हैं।

Many countries spend on research with use of scientific knowledge of students and scientists for innovations and technology developments. India also can allocate budget for research in core areas like agriculture , farming, and seeds development . These are specific to our countries geography. Hence , independent customized research is required.And it pays for farmers and country in production with desired quality.

Yes I do agree with the statement that " Science and the technology are the main fundamentals of a nation" as just because of science and the brilliant scientific minds the world is changing ! without science and technology we can't imagine our lives. It also encourages the scientific temper among the youth Thank you so much for bringing this to the spotlight. I support it by heart

1. Should have a very grand event on "Hidden Talents in Science and Technology" (may be once in a two year) where any Indian can express their scientific idea and knowledge sharing. It should not based on any education qualifications, no age criteria, no sex discrimination or any other discrimination. There must be some good committee to evaluate their talents and give proper guidance and financial supports to make their idea to a useful manner.

Science is not just for the kids and the students. There should be an opportunity for the people who are there in the industry and want to do some studies which are not in direct conflict of interest with the organization they are working.Agriculture is such a field, wherein the govt should support any idea on sustainability science. A lot of young farmers might have good ideas / different culture have different habits which are scientific and sustainable – especially
