Dear Sir, Functioning of PGPORTAL that is made available to general public so as to enable them to get their grievances resolved by bringing them to the notice of the concerned Government officials through pgportal.gov.in, is not upto the expectations of common people. My opinion on functioning of PGPORTAL is here with attached. Rain water harvesting and interlinking of rivers through pipelines within each state should be made compulsory by Central Government which can be funded by Central Government similar to railway projects. This will bring down water scarcity. Further all bottling plants should use sea water desalination process only which will save water table in all onshore areas.
