Gandhiji always emphasised upon "go back to villages" the main motive behind this was sustainable development and produce that much which is needed to survive.so he wanted a peaceful life where people are not greedy and they have a stress free life. But in the era of modernity stress, tension, greediness is common so to overcome it and fulfill Gandhiji idea we must bring awareness about yoga and introduce yoga/meditation as a subject in school curriculum. Moreover its indegineous.

Gandhiji,a person who believed on ideology of non violence and cleanliness should be greeted with a clean India. A waste to electricity plant had been established in Vadodara, similar plants should be made in every city of India to reduce garbage and promote cleanliness. Also painting of lines on road should be done as roads are being made but doesn't look good and are dangerous to use in night. Also grass plantation on open tracts should be a priority as that would result in lesser dust on roads.

Gandhi Jayanti is special, so why not sir we start an initiative. This Gandhi Jayanti we pledge to plant 10 Lakh trees all over India. Global warming is one of the biggest problem we are facing today. Pollution, water scarcity, diseases are common, this can be tackle only with the help of nature. Youth can play very important role in this. Sir, you are our ideal , If all the schools and Colleges plant trees, and start a cleanliness drive on this 2nd October. It will be great.

There is no doubt Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi is one of the greatest peacemakers that have ever lived on this earth. It is good to celebrate his legacy. But the most important thing is to follow his footsteps in practicing peace and honesty in our life. Who can forget this famous quote from Gandhi: “I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.” ― Mahatma Gandhi

Gandhiji did Dandi march to get the tax abolish on Salt. his focus was essential items should be available to masses at very reasonable rate. Best celebration of Gandhi 150th Anniversary would be to abolish tax on all essential food items.
