Innovative ideas on circular economy in E-waste

Today, electronic waste poses a significant challenge for society. With the introduction of innovative features and up-gradation, people are changing their devices by discarding the old ones, thereby contributing to the generation of electronic waste significantly.

Replacing the linear systems with circular in electrical and electronic equipment intends to maximize value at each life-cycle stage by reusing, repairing, recovering remanufacturing, regenerating products and material.

Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY) observes Swachhata Pakhwada 2022 from 1st February 2022 to 15th February 2022 promoting ‘E-waste se Raksha- Swachhata hi Suraksha’. Citizens are invited to share their innovative ideas on how circular economy practices can help in sustainable and efficient E-waste Management.

The best entries from the citizens will be identified by the Ministry and will be featured on the MyGov page.

The last date to receive suggestions is 15th February 2022.

ई-वेस्ट प्रोडक्ट के लिए हम सबको मिलकर कुछ करना चाहिए इसके लिए सरकार को भी कदम उठाना चाहिए जिससे हम और आप मिलकर ई वेस्ट मटेरियल को रिसाईकिल कर सके

Sir Now a days people are choosing electronic for smooth life, for example now paying bills, showing digital certificate by phones. like this practice, TV, etc are maximum used. so they prefer to through it & purchase new one. Sir, my suggestions are 1. Repair of old electronic items 2. Replacement of old 3. Addhaar attachment of items purchase so one have to purchase new one only after hand over the old or to pay double cost. we have to save our Environment anyhow.

1)Create an enabling environment & industry repository for sale of circular products/services by defining it, developing data standards/definition for secondary materials, incentivise sale of secondary materials, harmonise eco labels, develop guidance for circular procurement, explore consumer needs on circularity thru education program, change accounting standard like depreciation rules/ residual value estimates / increase in working capital / longer period cash flow etc., Global sanitization of data to avoid disincentives to consumers to return devices, work with industry association & recyclers & report on global scale. 2) Ensure legal clarity on liability for product defects & access to insurance for repair/ refurbishment. 3) Strengthen convenient take back & collection. 4) Enforce labor rights with good working conditions & Engage informal actors like kabbadiwala & support their transition to formalized entrepreneurs. 5) Develop EHS- environment, health & safety assurance scheme.

Partiality dysfunctional CCTV systems used by private companies or big cities can be donated to small towns/ villages to install there as security/ surveillance system.

Desh ke pratyek jila mein kachra prabandhan Kendra sthapit karne ka prayas karna chahie.samay samay per logon ko e kachra prabandhan ke prati jagruk karna chahie .vidyalayon mein bacchon ko e kachra ke prati sajag karna chahie .

हर घर में एक कूड़ेदान हो और उन कचरों को स्थानीय प्राधिकार की गाड़ी ले जाये। इन कचरों से पत्थर, लोहे, ,काँच और प्लास्टिक के टुकड़ों को छाँट कर एक जगह रखकर केचुएं छोड़ कर इनका जैविक खाद बनाकर कृषकों को दिया जा सकता है। इससे गाँव गली को स्वच्छ भी रखा जा सकता है और स्थानीय प्राधिकार की आय भी बढ़ेगी। कुछ लोगों को रोजगार भी मिलेगा। इसे ग्रामीण स्तर पर ग्राम पंचायत भी कर सकता है। अविनाश सिंह करहरी(वैशाली),बिहार
