Innovative ideas on circular economy in E-waste

Today, electronic waste poses a significant challenge for society. With the introduction of innovative features and up-gradation, people are changing their devices by discarding the old ones, thereby contributing to the generation of electronic waste significantly.

Replacing the linear systems with circular in electrical and electronic equipment intends to maximize value at each life-cycle stage by reusing, repairing, recovering remanufacturing, regenerating products and material.

Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY) observes Swachhata Pakhwada 2022 from 1st February 2022 to 15th February 2022 promoting ‘E-waste se Raksha- Swachhata hi Suraksha’. Citizens are invited to share their innovative ideas on how circular economy practices can help in sustainable and efficient E-waste Management.

The best entries from the citizens will be identified by the Ministry and will be featured on the MyGov page.

The last date to receive suggestions is 15th February 2022.

Waste is the thing which can be made best. The waste should be recycled either paper plastic disposal waste is refined and economy is rich made with increasing of oxygen and greenary around the surrounding make everyone healthy and wealthy.

As we know everyone need a house for their living, building our own house is somewhat a matter of pride for middle and lower class...we can use glass bottles scrap instead of mud bricks ...it has been scientifically proven that brick from glass scrap and some other waste is much more stronger and durable than the mud brick ...also paper honeycomb idea is also very powerful it also prevents damage in earthquake prone areas

Circular Economy in E-waste can be only achieved by recycling the electronic waste through a proper E-waste management system in which different colors of dustbins, E-vending machine for E-waste, exchanging old devices for new one so these are the factors that can heavily contribute to Circular Economy in E-waste, E-Waste recycling businesses should be well funded to innovate different ideas on how to recycling and reduce waste produced by Electronic products

Respected Sir,I suggest that after removing the hazardous elements from the e waste it can be crushed by crushing machines as mostly these products are made of carbon fiber or aluminum alloys etc which are not flammable.They can be crushed and made into sheets and screws etc. These sheets can be utilized for making various other things.Thanks

A circular economy shifts away from the 'take, make, use, waste'2 approach to a 'closed loop' system. A circular economy aims to reduce the environmental impacts of production and consumption by avoiding waste, and reusing or recycling materials.

The project “E-waste and the creation of a digital circular economy” explores the role of digitalisation in improving the management of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), ways to make this management more circular in the EU and worldwide, and how these efforts could be better supported via policies. The project comprises a workshop and additional research activities, which will lead to the Discussion Paper. The project is implemented by the European Policy Centre, supported by the WEEE Forum and funded by SENS eRecycling. The project was carried out between 2019 and 2021

Actually , I my view, there is no things called waste because , every component decomposes , it takes form in to different object , which must be researched and again utilize for the national development, were in , we must take the help of Artificial intelligence and robotics ,and machine learning, and develop new sectors of the economy.
