National Mission on Bio economy Launched
•Recently Institute of Bio-resources and Sustainable Development (IBSD) has
launched the National Mission on Bio economy in Shillong, Meghalaya.
•The bio economy aims at the production of renewable biological resources and their
conversion into food, feed, bio-based products and bio energy via innovative and
efficient technologies provided by Industrial Biotechnology.
•Bio economy is a new concept and few countries like US, Canada, EU and Australia
have started initiatives in this field. India is the fast-growing bio economy at US 35
billion dollars in 2015, which can even rise to USD 100 billion in future.
•The mission is unique to south-east Asia and India has become one of the few
countries to tap bio-resources.
•The purpose of the mission is to boost rural economy by utilizing bio-resources.

Respected sir, I think that our tribal communities are robust development when they are economically strong. Our central government declare many subsidies bank loan but all robust tribal community don't get this loan declared by government central. I think that our central government should donate bank loan for poor-pauper men for Benifit Bank Pass Book Account(BNT),then our government mudra yojana and subsidy loan for poor-pauper men will be success. Develop a robust tribal economy and our government G. D. P. Non development village and robust tribal communities development mean our government G. D. P growing and social development growing. You have to think about my suggestions. Thank you very much always.

There can be a convergence of tourism with the tribal society on the borders of the country. Many youngsters of the country want to travel deep upto borders. Adventure tourism is what we call it. They are also interested to know the way We guard the borders and the way local population lives in these areas. We can initially use the guesthouse of the various Govt agencies like Army , BRO, state Govt, ITBP, BSF etc… These organisations are self sufficient and can house the tourist as well give them an insight into border guarding. Once the flow starts then the concept of Home Stay will come in and with some support of the Govt the industry can also come in giving continuous employment to the people and also giving a livelihood interns of local food and clothing.

Bamboo baskets made by the tribal population especially women have to be purchased in cooperative stores and general markets, which help them to sell their products then and there and can get their livellihood.
Beehives and silk worms may be given to the tribal population, which will enable them to gather honey and silk threads

Followings can be done to enhance tribal economy
1. Govt should invest or offer them loan to start small investment business like poultry , piggery , rearing and caring of sheep/ diary/ fisheries
2. weekly Education program for all age people regarding their small skill businesses. like educating them about rearing , how to get better product yield , marketing of products , trade etc .
it can be proven long term best idea . also it can boost economy of country
