In the emerging post-Covid geo-political scenario too, it will bring people together through compassion, kindness, foster a sense of unity and build resilience among people world over.

Yoga for Humanity can be further popularised by imposing Yoga as a compulsory subject of study in all educational institutions. to begin with. Every State & district should have institutions A Yoga University at all state levels & Yoga schools at the district level/s. Olympics in Yoga can also be considered to be introduced once every 2 or 4 years. Yoga has to be popularised more as a game & sport rather than as a health improver. Yoga camps in hospitals for recuperating patients has to be made mandatory. Yoga as a professional discipline & subject should be developed & introduced in all the academic institutions across the country. Yoga has to remodelled as a modern medical science & propagated the world over. A data base on Yogic practitioners has to be prepared at the national level. This will help the Ministrybof Health & Family Welfare to formulate policies for its further propagation. Literature & libraries on the subject will be another idea for its enrichment .

Sir, Namaskar Alberuni, one of the greatest minds of Islamic world, dwells on Patanjali's Yog sutra ,in Tahaqiq Hind (11th century ). fact that he translates Yogutra in Arabic underlines respect for knowledge , Ilm, and openness of the mind of the time. Namaj postures resemble yogic postures. In spirit , Islam stands for brother hood, eqality, solidarity and peace. Jakat, symbolises duty bound compassionate concern for social welfare. Sublime understanding of this is 'Yoga for humanity.'
