A webinar on “Transforming the Health Sector: Union Budget 2021 – Strategies for Implementation” is being organized by the Department of Health & Family Welfare along with the Department of Health Research (DHR), M/o AYUSH and Department of Pharmaceuticals on 23rd February 2021 from 10.30 AM – 1.00PM. The webinar will enable sharing of the key highlights of the budget in respect of the health sector and broad strategies for implementation which build on and leverage reforms, enacted over the past few years. Invited experts will reflect on the challenges and opportunities for strengthening policy reform and implementation and provide suggestions on effective partnerships for positive outcomes. Experts are drawn from academia, research institutions, public health experts, Industry, State health officials, Directors of AIIMS, PGI, JIPMER, NIMHANS, other Central Government Institutions and representatives from FICCI, CII, ASOCHAM, PHD Chamber of Commerce, Healthcare Federation of India.

The key announcements in the Union Budget related to Health Sector are as follows and we seek ideas and suggestions from the public and other stakeholders on the same:

1. Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine to be rolled across the country
2. ₹35000 crore for Covid-19 Vaccine in 2021-22
3. Supplementary Nutrition Programme and Poshan Abhiyan to be merged and launched as Mission Poshan 2.0
4. Outlay ₹64180 crore over 6 years
5. Support for Health and Wellness centres
6. Setting up of Integrated Public Health Labs
7. Establishing critical care hospital blocks
8. Strengthening NCDC
9. Expanding integrated health information portal
10. National Commission for Allied Healthcare Professionals Bill
11. The National Nursing and Midwifery Commission

promote use of generic medicines in India from Government side.Doctors are not prescribing so patients are not taking it.Common people should be made aware of that.It is step towards betterment of health facilities in India.PM sir your image is very high at this time, use this opportunity to promote this public saviour generic medicine scheme.

मैं आदरणीय प्रधानमंत्री जी से अपना विचार साझा करना चाहता हूं कि बीमार और शिक्षा विहीन राष्ट्र से कभी भी विकसित राष्ट्र नहीं बन सकता । इसलिए देश की शिक्षा और चिकित्सा का कभी भी निजीकरण नहीं किया जाए इससे भारत की 40% आबादी जो गरीबी रेखा के नीचे जीवन यापन करती है उसका विकास अवरुद्ध हो जाएगा इसलिए चिकित्सा के क्षेत्र में प्राइवेट हॉस्पिटलों के ऊपर सरकार का पूर्ण नियंत्रण हो या उन्हें अधिग्रहण करने की जरूरत है यह गरीब जनमानस को इलाज के नाम पर लूट रहे हैं। और सरकारी हॉस्पिटलों को समृद्ध किया जाए।

#Health sector #Bharat ke har nagrik ko hospital govt ya private ho, sabhi hospital me har bar registration hetu Aadhar number jaroori ho. Isase Bharat ke sabhi Logo ka Health data pata hoga. Isase bahut se hospital me honewale farzi data ko pata chal sakega. Genuine logo ko health services milne me sahuliyat hogi.

Respected sir In the poshana abhijan programme the Anganawadi children and the school children also benifited. Further medicine also supplied by the government .Iron tablet and others health related medice also supplied to school girls. Definitely it is commendable by the government.

to improve nutritional outcomes for children, pregnant women and lactating mothers. Definitely it is and initiative programme by the Government. Really the children and women are benefited .Especially the rural people should aware about it and should receive the benefit .

Health care system is very good in India. It reaches the rural people also .but it should be at panchayat level. In every panchayat if a small health center is established , the local people will definitely benefit.The Prime minister’s holistic nutrition or Poshan Abhiyaan or National nutrition mission is government of India’s flagship programme

Jan ousadhi medicine is very low price that Gov. of India facilitate to the public. It is an initiative steps by the Govt. We should use though maximum medicines are supplied by the Government. People will know from the Umang app which is developed by the Govt. of India.
