POLICE: This vey shame full that police do not register a FIR easily. Everyday we read in newspaper about this that people go for court orders to register a FIR. Police officer never punished for not registering a FIR. To record less crime in their area FIR is not registered. It should be declared crime for not registering a FIR. FIR should be register online also. Fear about police should be removed from the mind of noblemen. Police should be people friendly. More courts should be setup and i

Dear Mr. Modi, Ahmedabad city has grown left & right in last few years & so is the human & vehicle population. However, people lack sense of traffic/road discipline. Looking at growing vehicles on the road, no. of accidents and extreme climate, people struggle to reach their destination smoothly. The same problem must be faced by people in other cities, across the country. In view to minimize the struggle, few suggestion are made in the attached doc. Kindly review and put up for execution.

TRAFFIC RED LIGHT AREA, ROADS AND FOOTPATH should be under police and it should be their duty to free area of begging children and encroachment from footpath. The police can’t say that removing encroachment from footpath is corporation’s job, then why they take hafta from them and why they remove them when there is any VIP movement. Removing encroachment from footpath is very important because of this pedestrians have to walk on roads and met with accidents.

CLEANLINESS: You rightly said on winning day at VARANASI that we should learn the teaching of Mahatma Gandhi about cleanliness. This is the most imp. issue. BUS STANDS, RLY STATIONS, PUBLIC TOILTES,GOVT HOSPITALS,DUSTBINS remain dirty. We deploy employees, give them salary but don’t keep check on them. This dirtiness gives bad image of INDIA. AUTO , TAXI STAND should be prepaid and well controlled during ops HRS. Tourist police booth should be at BUS STANDS, RLY STATIONS and TOURIST PLACES.

INFORMATION/ TRANSPERANCY: In every city areas should be defined properly for every department like POLICE,MUNICIPAL CORPORATION,DEVELOPER ETC .Because they pass the problem to other office saying that this not their area. Area should be on website and complaint no. of every department with email should also be on website. A complaint center in PMO can also be started.

Respected PMji, In my state Karnataka, though Gutkha is banned by orders of Supreme Court,it is being sold openly in the name of pan masala. Our youth are addicted to it & more & more are getting addicted. Gutkha not only spoils our youth & their health, it causes lot of pollution in the form of small plastic sachets. I humbly request you to do something about this menace in the interest of our youth & Swachcha Bharat? Best regards, Arun Phadnavis

GOVT –PVT JOBS: There should not be much difference between pvt. and Govt. salary, the people will not run for govt. jobs. Minimum salary, perks, retirement benefits should be fixed for pvt. jobs also. Pvt. Employers show high but give less salary. Taxes should be simplified. Employees give income tax, then service tax, toll tax, sale tax, vat etc. Half the salary goes in taxes.
