The Hon. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and address the 25th National Youth Festival on 12th January 2022, also Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary.
The youth across the country are invited to share suggestions and innovative ideas for the Prime Minister’s speech on the occasion.
The PM may include some of the suggestions in his speech. Please share your ideas and suggestions in the comments section below.

The National Youth Festival aims to galvanize, ignite, unite and activate the young citizenry towards nation-building, to unleash the true potential of our demographic dividend.

It was a decision of the Government of India taken in 1984 to celebrate the birthday of great Swami Vivekananda, i.e. 12 January, as National Youth Day every year. The Government of India quoted that ' the philosophy of Swamiji and the ideals for which he lived and worked could be a great source of inspiration for the Indian Youth Day.

In 1984 the Government of India declared this day as National Youth Day and since 1985, the event is celebrated in India every year.

He pushed for national integration in colonial India, and his famous speech remains as the one that he gave in Chicago in 1893. Yuva Diwas is also celebrated to encourage the youth in the country to become a better person and achieve an honorable life contributing to the development of the country.

honor the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, one of India's greatest leaders and believers of youth power. was an ardent disciple of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahansa and a major force in the revival of Hinduism in India. Celebrated as one of the greatest social leaders of the country, Swami Vivekananda was born on January 12, 1863, in Kolkata.

In 1984 the Government of India declared this day as National Youth Day and since 1985 the event is celebrated in India every year. National Youth Day is celebrated on January 12, every year in India to honor the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.

Swami Vivekananda had an inspirational personality, and his teachings are enough to motivate us. The Government of India declared 12th January as the 'National Youth Day' in 1984, and we have been celebrating it since 1985. It is a day of pride.

Vivekananda spent five years of his life traveling in India. He traveled to every corner of India as a monk and was dependent on the alms. Narendra had also visited foreign countries for seven years.

His principle William Hastie used to call him 'a genius'. Later, Narendra became a member of 'Brahma Samaj' founded by Raja Ram Mohan Roy. Soon, Narendra came under the asylum of Swami Ramakrishna Paramhans to focus on spirituality.
