The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources. India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica. Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP. For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower. Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

It should be taken up by Govt/Public Authorities training institutions however teaching/training services of experts from Private Sector must be obtained under close monitoring of Govt/Public Sector authorities.Use of Video Clippings of respective skills, selected by experts must be introduced. Like executive training in Public Sector,selected lots of trainees should be inducted in Public Sector in such a way that 50%each class room/field training should be given along with free lodging/boarding

mining sector needs high alertness and legal activities ,may it has been controlled by pvt. sector will make the mining a safer industry to work always.

YES, definitely. Private sector the world over, goes by hire and fire system. Particularly in our country where labour is damn cheap such skill development is only partial as much as can be useful to the owner. Only Govt can provide complete skills not only from job point of view but also for their personal use. And they should pass on these skills to the next generation on retirement. And after that they should be trained in other skills to sustain themselves when they are no longer wanted.

Sorry for a unrelated post to ur question but I have 1 suggestion for the government and I was not able to find where to post it so I am posting here. In my opinion govt should establish a real estate regulator ,just like we have sebi in financial sector.common people like us spend all our life's income on property and very often we find the builder was fake ,had no licenses etc and all the money gets blocked.then people cry,die,fight cases in courts etc.we need to do something abt it. Pl do stg

4. Sir, MNREGA exchange should be set up. This will be an online platform that will provide access to state entities to buy and sell MNREGA mandays. This way, states with large and ambitious projects can provide long terms sustainable livelihoods to workmen and states who consistently end up under utilizing MNREGA mandays will feel less guilty about the same.

At present skill development courses are launched with the help of private agencies but it is not working effectively. As per my opinion, it can be implemented through colleges which accredited by NAAC as A grade. Proper infrastructure is not available with private parties so such colleges are already have good infrastructure and resources.

3. Instead of Skill Development being promoted in a silo, there should be an alternate model wherein employment is subsidized. For every unskilled candidate that is employed in a factory or a retail outlet or any other organized sector employment, the employer should be given credit equivalent to what two years of skill building would have otherwise costed. The employers can use this fund to give higher starting salaries and sustainable benefits to new hires.

2. Change the Road Transport Taxation mechanism: As a citizen, I should pay vehicle life time tax only once, and then move across the country with ease with my vehicle. Let the states settles tax liabilities within themselves based on point of entry and exit into a state. I should not be hounded and chased by every state police wherein in I have to live for a couple of years. My right to livelihood is impacted, also, my constitutional right to move across ONE COUNTRY!

Dear Sir, Here is my wishlist: 1. The Monopoly & Restrictive Trade Practices team has to be reinvigorated. Numerous issues have cropped up in the last 10 years. Example: A 1 Ltr bottled water is sold at Rs.18/- in retail, and THE SAME PRODUCT is sold at Rs.40/- in what they call "Special Retail Outlets."

देश में ऊर्जा की कमी को पूरा करने के लिए हमे वैकल्पिक ऊर्जा के स्रोतों पर जोर देने की जरुरत है. उनमे से एक है गोबर गैस जो एक ओर देश की गैस की किल्लत को कम करेगा साथ ही सरकार पर सप्सिडी के बोझ को कम करेगा और देश में पशुधन को भी बढ़ावा मिलेगा जहाँ एक ओर आयात कम होगा वही दूसरी ओर दूध निर्यात बढ़ेगा। साथ ही खेतो को खाद मिलेगा जो फसल में बढ़ोतरी करेगा। तो कुल मिलाके छोटे सा कदम देश की अर्थवयस्था को मजबूती दे सकता है और समस्याओ को कम कर सकता है…
