At the moment E way bill is compulsory for value above 50 thousand rupees and tax payers are filing GST returns.Even if E way is made compulsory for all transactions below 50 thousand rupees also then also tax payers will manage and file returns. But then the tax payers will have no headache of manually entering the data at GST portal.

Invoices entered on E way portal should get auto populated in GST portal. Then tax payers should have option of accepting or rejecting or pending invoices.Once E Way portal gets connected with GST portal then there will be no need of entering the data manually either online or offline through Json file.Once E way bill is prepared then GST return should automatically get generated and filed by tax payers themselves. At the moment E way bill is compulsory for value above 50 thousand rupees

Having read the public responses on this portal regarding GST returns , people just want the most simplified way of filing returns themselves without any need for any accountant or CAs.One way of doing so is to make E way bill compulsory for all goods irrespective of mode of transport or distance or amount.Entering the data in E way bill is easy for almost all tax payers themselves.Once E way bill is entered that data should automatically get entered at GST portal.

Major issues are with input mismatch as company gets information in 2A after 4months (where quarterly filer's) and if any default by seller purchaser always have in put mismatch and reversal. Uniformity must continue in eturns to avoid these complications. it must be monthly or quarterly. There must be a gap of minimum 10days in gstr1 and 2 (gstr1 2 must continue with upload functions. So no evasion of tax.
