Allahabad city has been shortlisted by Ministry of Urban Development as one among the potential 98 smart cities under the Smart City Mission. At present, Allahabad Nagar Nigam is in the process of revising the Smart city proposal for second round participation. In this regard, Citizens of Allahabad are requested to participate actively in all Citizen Engagement process and enable our city to successfully accomplish the vision of the Smart City Mission.

In Round-1; Citizens of Allahabad chose Retrofitting option for 1160 acres as Area Based Development which includes areas such as Residential colonies of Mumfordganj, Commercial area of Katra, portion of Allahabad University and rejuvenation of Chandrashekar Azad Park and Hathi Park.

Allahabad Nagar Nigam requests all its citizens to participate in the Review process; wherein they can share their suggestions to help ANN to reformulate and strengthen the Smart City Proposal for the Round-2 challenge.

We request you to post your valuable suggestions on or before 25/05/2016.

We are requesting to all citizens of Allahabad to submit their valuable n positive suggestions as given links of McGovern.in .....as well as twitter n smart city allahabad Facebook links or submit hard copy at municipal office...

A full fledged anti encroachment policy should be drafted. Iron poles should be put up outside like many cities and those shopkeepers who do not abide should be photographed.

Even consumers carrying should be fined. 3. For keeping residential areas clean , committees should be formed and those residents who indulge in throwing garbage their names should be given to Nagar Nigam and they should be fined. 4. Places like Civil Lines should be beautifully decorated. Though plans are made but they are not implemented.

they will make the future of Allahabad but Citizens has also to support and co-operate in obeying rules & regulations and also in making Clean & Green Allahabad.

Strictly No Encroachment & Road side Small Religious Places, Tourism and many more things along with maintaining the Heritage Value of the city..

Allahabad should be planned & designed in such a way that it can serve all classes of our Society with all modern amenities and facilities like appropriate Accommodations, Water, Electricity, Food, Traffic, Transportation, Connectivity, Fly Overs, Civil Airport, Pollution Free Environment, Parks, Street Bazar Markets for different Eatables, Vegetables & Fruits.
