Allahabad city has been shortlisted by Ministry of Urban Development as one among the potential 98 smart cities under the Smart City Mission. At present, Allahabad Nagar Nigam is in the process of revising the Smart city proposal for second round participation. In this regard, Citizens of Allahabad are requested to participate actively in all Citizen Engagement process and enable our city to successfully accomplish the vision of the Smart City Mission.

In Round-1; Citizens of Allahabad chose Retrofitting option for 1160 acres as Area Based Development which includes areas such as Residential colonies of Mumfordganj, Commercial area of Katra, portion of Allahabad University and rejuvenation of Chandrashekar Azad Park and Hathi Park.

Allahabad Nagar Nigam requests all its citizens to participate in the Review process; wherein they can share their suggestions to help ANN to reformulate and strengthen the Smart City Proposal for the Round-2 challenge.

We request you to post your valuable suggestions on or before 25/05/2016.

first of all any #smartCity would be smart when citizen of that city are smart. so, lets start the awareness from children first. there should be proper monthly basis classes or seminars on manners & etiquette in schools and other institution. so that the know how to make this city & this country clean & smart.

camp for medical services like first aid, & illness fever,cold,eye infection etc should be arranged in famous for kumbh mela event at different location in Allahabad .

i want to suggest that energy conversation & pollution control ,environment science & traffic rule should be mandatory subjects in 10th standard.

Allahabad is also known as the judicial capital, we also have Sangam which is famous for KumbhMela. In my opinion in development phase more emphasis should be on Road and electricity and then on tourist places, because tourism attracts peoples to visit some particular place and also a source of revenue, and i believe that our NagarNigam has enough potential to make our city clean, what lacks is the leader, someone who can take initiative for development and every thing which an smart city needs.

Allahabad has a lot of natural resources but not utilising. It can be a best tourism place if all the rivers and their shorelines are utilised in their best way.

* Improvement in road condtion Drainage System * Proper Area for marketing * Knowledge park (Here and there opening of school without required area) * Proper Hospitality * Metro Arrangement * It is Educational City of UP so High Grade of Library of presence is mandatory * Needy person have a job * Beggaring system prohibited. * Establishment of Old age Home. * Grbage & Toilet Arrange.
