Allahabad city has been shortlisted by Ministry of Urban Development as one among the potential 98 smart cities under the Smart City Mission. At present, Allahabad Nagar Nigam is in the process of revising the Smart city proposal for second round participation. In this regard, Citizens of Allahabad are requested to participate actively in all Citizen Engagement process and enable our city to successfully accomplish the vision of the Smart City Mission.

In Round-1; Citizens of Allahabad chose Retrofitting option for 1160 acres as Area Based Development which includes areas such as Residential colonies of Mumfordganj, Commercial area of Katra, portion of Allahabad University and rejuvenation of Chandrashekar Azad Park and Hathi Park.

Allahabad Nagar Nigam requests all its citizens to participate in the Review process; wherein they can share their suggestions to help ANN to reformulate and strengthen the Smart City Proposal for the Round-2 challenge.

Underground wiring, good public transport system,all taxi should have meters for fare,and good roads with flyover is the first priority.

Smart parking facility should be provided to peoples.Police must be acting as pro-bono factor to prevent crimes and thus must be provided with smart facilities for good governance. The roads of the city should be broadened with abundant lightening facility.AIIMS must be available along with other high facility medical hospitals at an affordable rate.Facilities for transportation likewise Metro should cover large areas of Allahabad city with outskirt places.#SmartCity, #Allahabad, #MyGov

City needs Pollution control framework, because of political/Govt obstruction businesses are not taking after guidelines of contamination control.which is placing Allahabad in the rundown of most dirtied urban communities."

People should take in account themselves on how to make their City smart. They should not through garbage etc. on roads, in front of neighbors houses, in the parks. Nagar Nigam can provide us with the amenities but it is the sole responsibility of citizens of Allahabad to co-operate with the authorities and not just blaming the corporation

Allahabad has a lot of natural resources but not utilising. It can be a best tourism place if all the rivers and their shorelines are utilised in their best way.
