Allahabad city has been shortlisted by Ministry of Urban Development as one among the potential 98 smart cities under the Smart City Mission. At present, Allahabad Nagar Nigam is in the process of revising the Smart city proposal for second round participation. In this regard, Citizens of Allahabad are requested to participate actively in all Citizen Engagement process and enable our city to successfully accomplish the vision of the Smart City Mission.

In Round-1; Citizens of Allahabad chose Retrofitting option for 1160 acres as Area Based Development which includes areas such as Residential colonies of Mumfordganj, Commercial area of Katra, portion of Allahabad University and rejuvenation of Chandrashekar Azad Park and Hathi Park.

Allahabad Nagar Nigam requests all its citizens to participate in the Review process; wherein they can share their suggestions to help ANN to reformulate and strengthen the Smart City Proposal for the Round-2 challenge.

Changing private attitudes and providing basic social infrastructure - can't expect people to drive in lanes if there are no lanes, can't expect people to not litter when there are no waste bins. Along with the technology adopt a carrot and stick method to change private attitudes. The canal redevelopment to focus more on the canal water and then add green area after cleaning the canal and regulating the wastewater from different sources. To create a hawker zone for encroachers

I had developed a new 'concept' for Public Transportation. It is an Infrastructure Project, which provides number of base 'topics' for coding, developing applications, etc. It is also a perfect answer for 'Driver less Car' concept

for any project in a city ..sewage water teatment should be so enhanced that any person in the city shouldnt be affected by any disease.... arrangement of poper pipelines and highwaysto make traffic free city should be implemented first.... and lastly develop some beautiful sites for foreigners to visit to increase tourism in the area

Do provide Bike Track instead of Bicycle Track because it more useful than than bicycle track. In Pune they provided bicycle track no one using that track. infact people are riding bicycle on road
