Allahabad city has been shortlisted by Ministry of Urban Development as one among the potential 98 smart cities under the Smart City Mission. At present, Allahabad Nagar Nigam is in the process of revising the Smart city proposal for second round participation. In this regard, Citizens of Allahabad are requested to participate actively in all Citizen Engagement process and enable our city to successfully accomplish the vision of the Smart City Mission.

In Round-1; Citizens of Allahabad chose Retrofitting option for 1160 acres as Area Based Development which includes areas such as Residential colonies of Mumfordganj, Commercial area of Katra, portion of Allahabad University and rejuvenation of Chandrashekar Azad Park and Hathi Park.

Allahabad Nagar Nigam requests all its citizens to participate in the Review process; wherein they can share their suggestions to help ANN to reformulate and strengthen the Smart City Proposal for the Round-2 challenge.

trees should be plant not only along the roads but also in front of every house, government organization, private organization and in every area where it will be possible

TO DEVELOP ALLAHABAD IN ORDER TO MAKE IT POLLUTION FREE, TOTAL LITERATE, FULLY CLEANED, FARMERS SECURITY, WOMENS SECURITY BY MAINTAINING IT THROUGH PARA MILITARY FORCES, MAKING EVERYBODY EDUCATED, MAKING GIRL EDUCATION MANDATORY AND TEACH THE GENERAL PUBLIC TO GIVE RESPECT TO WOMEN, PROVIDE JOBS TO UTTAR PRADESH PEOPLE BY BRINGING INDUSTRIES LIKE IT, FMCG, AGRICULTURE, DEFENCE. EFFORTS BE MADE TO RECRUIT UNEDUCATED YOUTHS IN DEFENCE FOR ALLAHABAD CITY.

Dear sr... 1) Naini me band padi industry ko phir se start karne ki kosis ki jaye...agr possible nahi to vaha pr padi machines ko sold kr land ka reuse kia jaye. 2) sabhi light wire ko remove karke underground kia jaye 3) band road ki tarah r bi bade chaurahe ko sawara jaye

The best strategy would be to start with the Civil Lines area as a retrofit area and then move onto other areas,keeping Civil Lines as a model. Civil Lines is economically the most important part of the city and the most developed as well. If given proper attention and funds,it could develop into a model area in a very short matter of time. AMC is doing a good job,cleanliness and traffic situation has improved but I think they need more funds to implement the other plans they have for area.

For making allahabad City Smart government should give due attention towards improvement of Hospital facilities, Bus terminus and Railway Station and greenery.

segregation of garbage at source, gymnasiums and toilets at gardens, upgrading municipal schools, improving the city’s green cover, rehabilitation of hawkers, developing Wi-Fi spots, increased use of social media and e-governance, increased use of solar power in smart city allahabad.
