Allahabad city has been shortlisted by Ministry of Urban Development as one among the potential 98 smart cities under the Smart City Mission. At present, Allahabad Nagar Nigam is in the process of revising the Smart city proposal for second round participation. In this regard, Citizens of Allahabad are requested to participate actively in all Citizen Engagement process and enable our city to successfully accomplish the vision of the Smart City Mission.

In Round-1; Citizens of Allahabad chose Retrofitting option for 1160 acres as Area Based Development which includes areas such as Residential colonies of Mumfordganj, Commercial area of Katra, portion of Allahabad University and rejuvenation of Chandrashekar Azad Park and Hathi Park.

Allahabad Nagar Nigam requests all its citizens to participate in the Review process; wherein they can share their suggestions to help ANN to reformulate and strengthen the Smart City Proposal for the Round-2 challenge.

My suggestion for smart city allahabad is there should be farm house for all the cattels and buffaloes out side the city area and proper allocation of space for all cattle owners for this purpose. Cng should come in allahabad for pollution reduction.

Clear footpath from encroachments even by temple grave or electric and telephone poles. Give number to each road lane and by lane. Each lane street and road should be tree lined with uniform trees. Remove overhead wires in phase. Conceal all open drains and nullas in phase.House to house garbage collection it's segregation recycling and waste management. Ganga and Yamuna bank renovation on pattern of gomti . River water games and amusement. Urinals and breastfeeding corners every 200

The colony developed should have multi storage apartments with proper parking facility, dustbin, one park, building should be spacious so that sun light can reach ground.
