The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – a credible Smart City.

The last date to submit your suggestions / comments is 10th December, 2015.

So generation of renewable energy, easy transportation, and attractive buildings etc infrastructure is required to be developed in Pasighat into smart city with proper planning.

There will be no problem place by the people of pasighat because no people of pasigaht will be illiterate, there will be proper education facilities to each and every homes, water supplies to each and every homes, street lights to prevent quarrel in the high time children parks for the children, railways, metros and many major development. Congratulation to the people of pasigaht for a major development pasigaht will be connected to the world wide. Pasighat will be well known to the world.

The followings may be few suggestive measures for a smart and clean city: 1. Street washing before sweeping; 2. Use Bio-disposers to dispose kitchen / bio-degradable waste directly to sewer network. 3. Areas without sewer network may be provided with Bio-digesters for tackling bio-degradable waste. 4. Manage all type of Solid Waste separately without co-mingling for efficient reuse / recycling.

For development prepare team from pasighat town and send it to different places around our country to take over the knowledge regarding making of smart city. After that select some of the important places areas around the vicinity of pasighat and slowly-slowly try to develop it and also take help of professional college like college of horticulture and forestry Pasighat.medical College like AIIM, APOLLO etc. like Chandigarh rock garden we can utilize the waste material i.e. here in pasighat we h
