The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – a credible Smart City.

1. Tall building should be installed with solar boards 2. E-governance for all government interaction for corruption free management 3. Quick Sewage and waste clean system with fine for mis-using 4. People should be educated of different types of wastes and same has to be adopted 5. Review and quicker implementation of better education system 6. Wider and planned roads in new suburbs and streets 7. Clean government offices, hospitals and other common areas 8. No political involvement

For a smart makeup of the city its highly essential to have a feeling of civic sense among people if Pasighat. Secondly the people have to understand how it like to be living in an standardized area it lies in the citizens of Pasighat how to use the provided resources and bring out the best in it.

1. ATM should work properly and must open for 24 hrs. 2. Increasing use of solar power. 3. Drainage system must improved 4.Market area should be clean properly. 5.Construction of good roads inside the colony. 6. Campaign for cleanliness of river. 7. Use of CCTV in public areas.

Better public transport system and encourage people to use. Discourage encroachment put heavy penalties Encourage paperless work, motivate government employees for time bound services and understand their responsibility.

Pasighat is ideally know for adventure sports activity like rafting, hiking, etc. pasighat is the land of mighty siang river, indigenous hanging bridge and the daying erring sanctuary also. So, lets make our pasighat a smart city.

Arunachal Pradesh is one of the best place for school education...but still there is need for higher education in Engineering and medical science......Pasighat can be one of the best city for education hub for higher education. Infrastructure need to be upgraded with latest technology and IT and other industries can be set up to provide job for youngsters...... I am fully support pasighat to be come under smart city.

Suggestion no:- 1) We should keep our city clean. 2) We should get proper electricity, water, transportation 3) And good facility for public like park, swimming pool and colleges like AIIMS 4) We should get a good library, sport places 5) We need drain in every colony 6) And we need good sai school talented does who can show their school.

Violation of traffic rule should be panelized with detergent punishment so that violators do not repeat in future. Electronically operated Traffic signal should be installed in all the important locations which should be monitored from an office. Traffic polish should be posted in all the locations with radios so that any irregularities or violation of rules could be attended immediately.
