The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – a credible Smart City.

The last date to submit your suggestions / comments is 10th December, 2015.

1) Smart fire alarming system should be placed in every house. 2) Every house should have gardens or trees around it. 3) If possible every house must have one solar panel at their roofs to provide them essential energy. 4) Every bill which comes to the house could be paid by internet sitting at home.

We agreed our town as smart city because if our pasighat town will be smart city we people may get developed in educational, living standard and other activities and specially because of mighty siang river we people of pasighat got many problem.

There should be public grievances redressed from where citizens can share there grievances and appeal for the same. And the governance should be done electrically as soon as possible. SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.

Solid waste management should be dealt by a separate agency, Citizen of Smart city expected to show self discipline by not littering public place and use dust bins, garbage from dust bins should be cleaned regularly. Complete city should have underground sewer system with mini sewage treatment plant in all localities say in all sectors. Treated effluent should be distributed in city for Horticulture, Road Washing activity. these activity can be dealt with a independent agency

Smart solutions Smart information, grievance redressed, electronic, service delivery, citizens, engagement, waste to energy and fuel. Waste to comost,100% treatment, monitoring water quality, renewable source of energy, efficient energy and green building, smart parking, intelligent traffic management system.

We scared for the water and drainage system is also weak, toilet system is also weak we agreed as .we people of pasighat wish that our pasighat be smart city.

The purpose of the Smarty cities mission is to drive economic growth & improved the quality of life the people by enabling local area development and technology,especially technology that lead to the smarts out comes.

Part of the problem stems from the lack of employment opportunity. However, we need to free up the pavements. We cannot have vendors occupying the free space. We need to have the pavements free from encroachments. There is no "smartness" in a so called smart-city if the citizens cannot walk. Every day, we see someone coming and setting up his/her stalls. Electric current is essentails facilities provided by the people.Sanitation and cleanliness environment to maintain clean our environment smart city Pasighat.We should make a big dustbin to keep damage things and unwanted things in our Pasighat to looks clean and people healthy.
