Tiruchirappalli City Municipal Corporation has been ranked first among 12 cities selected for implementing Smart City project in Tamil Nadu and is gaining momentum to get shortlisted in the final round of Smart City Challenge where 20 cities would be selected in the first year.

The vibrant citizens of Tiruchirappalli are requested to post their views pertaining to municipal and city’s basic infrastructure such as water supply, electricity, sanitation, waste management, transport, parking, energy,housing, IT solutions,safety and security. Residents are encouraged to give their ideas and suggestions at city level as well as local area level solutionsin Tiruchirappalli.

Let us join hands together in making Tiruchirappalli a global Smart City!

Road maintenance is poor unable to drive vehicles on the streets of the city.traffic regulation must be taken care.corporation may use waste generated for making roads in the city which would reduce waste generation and improve roads.corporation may think of generating power from wastes

*use of solar power for street and road led lights *main thing which we r waiting for new integrated bus stand *planting of trees along road sides for green and clean city *proper drainage system *installation of cctv cameras in all bus stops and important places

i'm santhosh.s.p ..., our district should be different from others., 1. Constructing concatenated religion platform (temples,church,mosque in a same place) 2. constructing modern parks in the river bank of our kaveri river.., 3. Locating digital navigators in important places such as central bus stand and chatram,etc.., 4. extending our city limit by building a new ultra-modern bus station near airport(little away from airport) 5. increasing the usage of solar panels in street lamps.

plantation is vary important to trichy. need more park and entertainment park , it park extension, Tamilnadu chief minister announced in 2012 'Santhosa park for trichy & chennai. But Still not to started. Please take action for santhosa park.Required Indian Institute Of Touriest And travel Management (IITTM) To Trichy.

good water facility reach to easily to people. under ground sewage plan extend to full city. good medical facility to trichy, Need AIMS Hospital to trichy, WIFi Facility to New integrated bus stand. city important place should be covered by CCTV .encourage NON-Pollution vehicle in city drive, all bus stop should change newly with bus timing digital board .should be banned to stick poster to public wall and private walls also in the city.

1.We required good road facility, New Integrated World class bus terminal, Air port runway extension,modern toilet(namma toilet) to every 1km,all government walls and bridges should make natural painting,100% plastic should be restricted,uyyakondan can and other canal should closed by solar panel. renovate to kavery bridge, both side required beautiful lamp, flower plant to cavery bridge. mannarpuran circle should be change plantation with artificial water fountain .
