Solid waste management to be implemented 100%. It will be easily possible if segregation is done at the residence level. When we can save milk packets, old news papers, old vessels etc to be sold later, why not other wastes too? When the govt can provide every house with TV, Mixie, Grinder, Fan etc, why not a mini recycler which runs on solar power?

(cont) This can be done in two ways
(i) by improving the access and connectivity to Trichy Town station as in the case of Chennai (Central & Egmore) and distributing the trains accordingly.
(ii) by developing a new bus stand for those cities situated to the north of Trichy say T.malai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Vellore etc along the bye pass road after Palpannai area. Subsequently the omni bus operators too will shift their base

Hearty congratulations to our Corporation Officials who made our city Trichy to bag the first place. Hope they will thrive to achieve this in the final round too.
1)DISPERSION OF CROWD&TRAFFIC: Though the proximity of Central bus stand and Central Rly station is an advantageous feature it leads to accumulation of crowd & traffic. Traffic comes to a stand still in the road connecting the bus stand & station during peak hours and especially during weekends and festive seasons...(cont)
