Tiruchirappalli City Municipal Corporation has been ranked first among 12 cities selected for implementing Smart City project in Tamil Nadu and is gaining momentum to get shortlisted in the final round of Smart City Challenge where 20 cities would be selected in the first year.

The vibrant citizens of Tiruchirappalli are requested to post their views pertaining to municipal and city’s basic infrastructure such as water supply, electricity, sanitation, waste management, transport, parking, energy,housing, IT solutions,safety and security. Residents are encouraged to give their ideas and suggestions at city level as well as local area level solutionsin Tiruchirappalli.

Let us join hands together in making Tiruchirappalli a global Smart City!

1.Cheemai karuvel(சீமைக்கருவேலை) Prosopis juliflor must be completely removed in and around the city. 2.Gandhi market have to be moved outside the city. 3.one way road must be widened 4.Gas must be supplied through pipelines and electric wires must me grounded.

Smartness in the city should be based on the Humanity, Harmless Technical Growth and the Environment friendly attitude. Technology alone can not bring the growth but we should bring together all classes of the people in the stream of the "Smart City". Always consider the man standing at the last!!!!

7. Encroachments should be removed to encourage more Foot Path users 8. Parking on the roadside and the residential areas should be banned 9. Traffic Violators should be severely penalised 10. Let's inspire for the " Good City" then aim for the "Smart City"

4. More Parks , Play grounds, more usable Public Toilets should be planned and built in ratio with using population 5. All the commercial buildings, establishments, Hotels should mandatorily have Toilets 6. Public meetings and any sort of gatherings should be allowed outside the city and Trouble and Hassle freeness within the city should be ensured

1.Smart City should cater even to the lay man, "Smart City" is pronounced often with the educated but not with others. We should consider our fellow citizen also 2.Smart City concept insists for the proper Infra structure, Tech Savviness rather than our inter woven culture and tradition and where we stand in terms of humanity 3."Gated Communities" shall be discouraged as it only helps in building walls between the societies

Make a complete in single website for all corporation related works like birth certificates and land registration and awareness of corporation policy and benefits . 2.Make proper drainage systems and make them recycled before passing into the rivers.

make A Construction of Building in without harnming environment By making 1.roof top garden 2.solar power systems 3.water harvesting and recycling of water. 4.Electricity have to backed up in hub for especially with high top buildings. 5.Have to reduce the lights which consumes high powers by changing them into led's or others

make a clean city by collecting garbage waste by separating e waste and organic waste and industrial waste so that we can use the waste for so many like other country . 1.organic waste are to be made for fertilizer. 2.e waste are to be recycled and used for like Roads. 3.organic waste and hospital waste are have to be decomposed in proper way without affecting the environment-harm. *****************************************************************
