There are lot of work happening to secure online and offline payments. One of the feature what i observed with Kotak Mahindra. They are giving an option (in mobile App) to off your debit card when you are not using it and when you want to shop with it, you can switch on the debit card. I think other banks are also working on the safety and security for online/offline payments.

Cashless Economy !!! Ordinary citizens queued up for cash and economists are still busy estimating the extent to which economic growth will be hit. I think people who have tremendous experience With Cashless Economy should stand up now and promote "Cashless Payments" to the people. We have promoted Ola/Uber & many Online aggregators (with no reasons and none of our interests, only thing they gave us discounts so we heavily promoted them). Lets Promote Cashless Economy!! Promote by video/photos?
