Our aim should be - To bring back the glory of Solapur with inclusive growth and development of all sectors with potential in the city,
Our motto should be - "SWACCH SOLAPUR, SUNDAR SOLAPUR, SONYACHA SOLAPUR"
Please read it as - "सॊन्याचा सॊलापुर" and not as - "सॊनियाचा सॊलापुर" !
;) ;) :)

We still DO NOT HAVE:
15- GOOD GOVERNANCE;
16- Efficient water resources management and distribution system (We get polluted water with Algae and Mud in it and that too after every 3-4days);
17- A good number of trees and greenery within and around the city;
18- A nice shopping area where we can get all the latest and trending stuffs, which we get in bigger cities;
19- A double line of railway as expected which is hampering the to and fro of the trains from the city.

Contd...
We still have:
9-People using public places as their own (or of their so called Dada/Mama/Bhau/Kaka/Baba/Bhaiyya/Mummy/Kaku/Ajji)- The huge cut-outs will tell you;
10- A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION WITH LACK OF WILL, MANAGEMENT AND IDEAS- hence lack interest in competing with other smarter cities and lack of funds and poor city development;
11- Lot of sound and air pollution- more during festivals or processions;
12- Poor condition of roads, gardens, public places and water resources

Hello everyone!
Many congratulations to all my fellow citizens of Solapur for making the selection of our city in the smart cities project a success.
I went through many of the recent suggestions posted by our fellow citizens here, but I hardly found very few of them commenting about the basic things which our city needs to be a smart city.
