People are wasting a lot of time filling NIL returns for no reason at all. To facilitate "ease of doing business," GST registration should get automatically cancelled if someone is filling NIL return for more than a year. Also, the GST council should work towards facilitating businesses to cancel their GST with ease. They are asking for documents which can only be prepared with the help of a CA. Not everyone has the money to hire a CA. Please make it business friendly for startups.

Respected PM, PMO, FM & MOF, *****Please look into this and do away with GST for Mutual Funds Distributors.***** Mutual fund distributor only help investor complete financial/non financial transactions in MF schemes on behalf of AMC, just like employee of AMC. Instead of salary s/he is paid commissions out of expenses charged to scheme by AMC. AMC pays GST on the expense charged by them to investor. It automatically includes GST paid on commission to MFD. Hence charging GST additionally to M

GSTR1 returns Should be simplified : 1) when entering sale invoice wise details allow user to fill Quantity and hsn code so that box no.12 (HSN wise details) will be removed 2) one should not mention separate CGST & SGST tax(/IGST) it should be direct 18% or whatever tax slab the product is in, because when we enter sale invoice detail in GSTR1,the software automatically splits the tax component, So save ink & paper also environment

#AmendmentSrNo15 - Also, the present theoretical provisons of 180 days non payment are a harrassment tool during the audit by the department, which should be made automated to reverse the credit through portal itself.

#AmendmentSrNo15 - Further, we also propose to give the option to the supplier, to upload the list of Billwise details of parties / defaulters, who have not paid bills for more than 180 days, since at present, the provions relating to 180 days non payment are theoretical only, but instead should be regulated by the government on GSTN Portal.

#AmendmentSrNo15 - Due to the proposed relaxation of not charging interest during reversal, suppliers would be at loss and would need huge working capital in business to cater to the illegitimate needs of blocking payments by the wrong doers or defaulters. Besides, in case of persons engaged in malafide business of bogus billing, it would prove to be a luxury, if interest is not charged. Hence, it is requested to restore to the earlier provsions.
