Hi
Unable to understand why GST applicable on Mutual Fund industry ONLY. All the other financial products are exempted from GST then why ONLY Mutual Advisors are liable to pay.
There is suggestion and demand Advisor of Mutual Funds should be exempted from GST.

In case of any technical issues in GSTIN website, please provide a pop-up message on home page about the ongoing issue / problem with GSTIN website. This will avoid unnecessary logging into GSTIN website and save time. Eg: There are times while making GST payment, the payment window gives an error (screen shot attached). We keep trying multiple times, to make the payment and waste our time.

Dear Sir,
We humbly demands further amendment in Section 35(5) and Section 44(2).
The word “audited by a chartered accountant and cost accountant and other records and shall submit a copy of the audited” shall be deleted and will be substituted as “Examined by a GST Practitioners” and other record and other records and shall submit a copy of the verified annual accounts,”
In section 44 and sub section (2) the word “audited” shall be replaced by “examined”.

I am a mutual fund distributor, I recommend mutual funds to investors. I never collect money from people and there is no trading as for as goods/ services concerned.but I am required to register for GST.if my income from all commission exeeds 20 lakhs I have to pay gst.
Mutual fund distributor can be placed under categories like insurance agents and TDS may be introduced for them in place of GST.
It's not fair to keep MFD under service tax. Pls consider and make our life easy to distribute MF.
