In order to engage with the stakeholders and invite comments from the public at large, the Department of Revenue has decided to make available the proposed amendments in CGST Act, 2017, IGST Act, 2017 and the GST (Compensation to States) Act, 2017 in the public domain. The draft proposals for amendments can be seen here. You are invited to submit your comments/feedback on the draft proposals for amendments through this discussion on MyGov.in. To facilitate the analysis of the comments / feedback, you are requested to add a hashtag to your comments. The hashtags should be added using the following scheme:

Use the hashtag #AmendmentSrNo1 for comments pertaining to amendment detailed at serial no.1 of the draft proposals,#AmendmentSrNo2 for comments pertaining to amendment detailed at serial no. 2 of the draft proposals, etc.

Sir, Registered dealers may be asked to file GSTR 1 on daily basis and upto 15th of next months. By 20th of next month they may be asked to pay their tax due either by accepting invoice wise list appear on GSTR 2A or they may be asked to pay 50% of the amount they collected towards GST which ever is less. The GSTR 2A may split into accepted entries and entries pending for acceptance. These may be reconciled by auditors while filing ITRs. This idea may be developed further.

In respect to GST, Hon.PM and Team Govt. has made great effort to implement GST, the intention of hon. PM is to simplify the taxation system, further,upto march,18, the system was going smoothly, assessee and people are just trying to accept the system of GST, but, the GST authority and some official have created problems by giving GSTR-1 filling time only 10 days instead of 30 days earlier,it is not possible to file GSTR-1 by most of the assessee within 10th honestly, pl.extend time,best wishes

SIR GST 3B LATE RETURN FILING LATE FEES WAIVED FOR ALL MONTHS. YOUR NET WORK MORE PROBLEMS.THE TAX CONSULTANTS ARE WORK BURDEN.THE FINANCE MINISTER UNDERSTAND THEIR PROBLEMS AND WAIVED FOR LATE FEES ALL MONTHS. MORE CONSULTANTS ARE WORRIES IN THIS WORK. GOVERNMENT TAKE GOOD DECESION IN 21/07/2018 GST COUNCIL MEETING IN LATE FEES WAIVED.

#AmendmentSrNo26 Please remove reporting requirement in the GST returns for Non-GST, Exempt and NIL rated supplies. Also remove requirement for HSN wise summary of supplies. Both are compliance burden

Dear GST law Makers please simplify the GST Returns. We are the tax consultant and belongs to a rural and backward area. People doesnt understand about the monthly 3B returns and it has been comes to the results of late fees. the rules for small dealer should be liberal and please provide relief for earlier late fees.For the small dealer who are below rs. 20lakhs, the single return should be filled. For composition dealer the date of filling of return should be 1 month from the due date.

RESPECTED SIR I HEREWITH INFORMING YOU THAT KINDLY REMOVE LATE FEE, AND DEVELOP THE GST SOFTWARE WELL IN ADVANCE BECAUSE LACK OF TIME WASTE IN FILING GST RETURNS, SIMPLIFY THE ALL THE 3 RETURNS ( GSTR1,GSTR2 GSTR3B & GSTR4 ). MOST OF THE DEALER ARE NOT AWARE OF LATE FILING FEES AND THEY ARE ILLITERATE TRADERS . KINDLY DO THE AWARENESS PROGRAMS IN QUATERLY WISE IN EVERY DISTRICT WITH CHAMBER OF COMMERCE. I HUMBLY REQUEST YOU SIR KINDLY DROP DOWN THE REVERSE CHARGE MECHANISM FOR ALL TRADERS

Under GST Act, claiming ITC burden lies on the recipient is 100 (hundred) per cent correct. This burden is against only in the case of colluded Sellers and Buyers, those having habitual Evasion of Taxes, did even in the VAT regime. So to safe guard the Government Revenue, Law must be amended even more Stronger than the at present
