In an endeavour to address the inadequacies of capacity constraints and improve its modal share in total freight eco system of the country, Indian Railways has come up with Draft National Rail Plan.

A draft of long term strategic plan called the National Rail Plan has been developed to plan infrastructural capacity enhancement along with strategies to increase modal share of the Railways. The National Rail Plan will be a common platform for all future infrastructural, business and financial planning of the Railways. This plan is being circulated among various Ministries for their views now. Railways aim to finalise the Final plan by January 2021.

Railways course correcting ! But given India's population, demand, scale & talent, the current pace can easily be 2-3x given availability of all the materials & huge unemployment if reports r to be believed. More establishment has not denied it ! Come on Piyush Goyal 1 teji is enuf for a baniya to take care of 7 generations basics ! can u do it ! 1) Look at Cost & Productivity, efficiency , utilization - Daily Birla Padta system required micro & macro level . with technology it is possible

train me biotoilet clean nai hone k karan bahut bura lagta hai or ise time me stations me clean karne ka intjam proper nai hota plz isme sudhar karen.2nd general coach ka bura hal hota hai dum ghutne k halat hote saf safai to dur logo ko toilet tak jane me problem hoti hai.govt real me sudhar karna chyti hai to is or dhyan de upper class to fir bhi thik hai per general k log insan nai hai kya itna jyda bhed bhav thik nai hai .3rd kuch road me bhaut crossing hoti hai jis karan road me problem hai

13. Different doors for exit and entry with color code. as people enter n exit by the same door sometime it becoms hectic for passengers(specially senior citizens n kids). 14. color coded seats for female n senior citizens in every coach so that these seats cant be occupied by male passengers.

महाशय, वर्तमान समय में सभी एक्सप्रेस ट्रेनों में आरक्षण व्यवस्था लागू है, लेकिन इसका लाभ न हीं रेलवे को हो पा रहा है और न ही जो इस व्यवस्था को अपनाना चाहते हैं। कारण सभी स्टेशन पर करेंट आरक्षण उपलब्ध नहीं है,या फिर आरक्षण की व्यवस्था ही नहीं है। जिन स्टेशनों पे आरक्षण की व्यवस्था नहीं है, वहाँ आरक्षण की सुविधा मुहैया करायें। करेंट आरक्षण व्यवस्था में व्यापक सुधार की जरूरत है। छोटी दूरी के एक्सप्रेस ट्रेनों में, आरक्षित सीटें पूरी तरह से खाली रह जाती है, और यह बेटिकट व अराजक यात्रियों की जगह।

Development of IOT and Bigdata Science should applied by Railway for better management of passenger service,proper findings and prediction of traffic load along with routes with better coordinated with timing and seasons will give a suitable solution to waiting problems. This will increase the profitability of the railway.

The govt can also ensure that this growth is sustained through usage of eco friendly sources of energy like solar, hydro etc.Cleanliness of railway lines must be ensured through patrols at regular intervals by dedicating separate trains for the same. Registrations of salesmen of various goods and services, unifying the payment process can make conducting of business in the railways more efficient

we should increase the average speed of both passenger and freight trains as increasing the speed would also increase the number of times these trains could carry the load, thus increasing the overall carrying capacity. This could be done by expanding and buying more Vande Bharat express train sets and fast-tracking the development of Train 20.

I would like to request if you are doing privatisation in railway system then you should also so consider few facts. Create job opportunity. Reasonable fee for Transport. Reasonable fee for travelling. It seems that the railway its not properly maintained by its representative so please look in the matter of hygiene and cleanliness. proper and hygiene food. cleanliness in the toilet.
