Misleading advertisements, tricks gullible consumer in purchasing the products and services which are often health hazards or substandard in quality, for example – various pills/food supplements, fairness creams, etc.  The Department of Consumer Affairs, Government of India having its office at New Delhi, would not be able to check the menace of misleading advertisement without the active participation and help from the State Governments, local self-Governments and the Police department of the States. These authorities are expected to intensify their action against the misleading advertisements as also the misleading advertisers on their own or once altered by the voluntary consumer organizations.

Suggestions are invited on how the State Govt., local self-government and Police can take effective measures against Misleading Advertisements.

राज्य मजबूत बने और राज्य से देश इसकी शुरुआत एक छोटे से कसबे प्यारा सा गाँव जिसमे भारत का दिल बसता है से होती है जैसे आदमी विकास करता है तो घर बनाता है, घर से गाँव बनाता है, गाँव से शहर बनाता है, शहर से राज्य और राज्य जबतक मजबूत नहीं होगा तबतक देश मजबूत नहीं हो सकता है। और इन सब की शुरुआत एक आम आदमी से ही होती है। इसलिए जरुरी है की आम आदमी अपने विकास के प्रति सजग हो और जो भी सरकारें हो वो जनता के विकास में हर तरह से सहयोग करे तभी हमारा देश और मजबूत हो पायेगा।

If there is someone who is really listening I have a request to make. Among other problems our dear nation is facing one such problem is traffic planning. People have got nothing to do with traffic rules. I feel that people are not aware of the traffic rules. Its a humblest request to make some policies to make people aware of the traffic rules. Some advertisements and other marketing should be started along with other policies like swachh Bharat and jago grahak which I really appreciate.

Pmo Very big roles to control the state govt.to followed the good govt.development present programs no new created program by state government to failure the govt projects, so if we do state forward to control the work of governments than PM & pmo more good governance administered for all people.

If products are available then definitely marketing becomes a desire,so if govt ban on such products then advertisements wud no more exist because the ultimate goal is to save people from using it.No root no fruit.Or else govt can fix a prize for informing such acts.

This is very simple Issue to Tackle provided if the citizens are aware of the Law . Local court procedure need to be faster so that they can sue the Advertiser and get enough compensation .When this is practically implemented ,False Ad's will automatically disappear !

प्रिय आ प्रधानमंत्री जी, सादर प्रणाम, अबतक का सरकार का कामकाज ठीक चल रहा है. आशा है आप GST जल्द लागू करेंगे. बाकी विषयों के साथ साथ शिक्षाके विषय मे ध्यान देने की अत्याधिक आवश्यकता है. स्कूलोंमे अच्छी काहनिया बताना लगभग बंद हो गया है. presentation करने के चक्कर मे सबकुछ "भडक" हो चला है. सादगी coma मे है. ८-१२ के छात्रोसे बात करो तो डर लगता है, ये आगे क्या करेंगे. आशा है आपने इस विषय मे काफी कुछ सोचा होंगा . आपका ..... महेश गद्रे

Coherence among departments is necessary. While one or the other department might act as nodal (or legal cell) for a particular advertisement, strict enforcement/action against offender shall be through Police with proper inputs from the teams who keep a watch over such advertisements. So first collection of info by teams, screening of this info (advertisements here) and sending to nodal department/legal cell for checking the nitty-gritty of these advertisements.

Please ban children from acting in advertisements on TV. Most products have no use for children but they target innocent kids using their advertisements. As children are unable to understand the truth behind the advertisements they fall prey to it. Many European countries have banned children from acting in advertisements unless the product is only used by babies. E.g. adverstisement where a kid tells that don't eat your boring subji but use our ketchup is really bad for the children watching it

Iam 74 and central govt officer retd anda CGHS member. i have undergone an opearation of Gall bladder removal and Acute Pancreatistics and i paid 1.45 lakhs to nearest Hosptal . but i gota small reimbursement of 37000/ only.so the rates should be revised and be practical and updated. CGHS must be streamlined. There is no fear among the employees for their accountability.
