Addressing his fellow Indians from the Red Fort on 15th August 2014 the Prime Minister called for replacing the Planning Commission with another Institution that is in sync with the modern times and most importantly in sync with the aspirations of 21st century India. The Prime Minister also emphasized on the important role the states have to play in taking the nation forward.

This forum invites your innovative ideas on what shape will this proposed institution take in terms of structure, composition and area of functioning. Another area of focus that requires your inputs is how this proposed institution can enhance Centre-State coordination and thus become a true celebration of India’s Federal Structure.

It should be a proper blend. New think tank could have following structure= PM+FM+RBI Governor+2 IAS+1 IFS+1 medical insti director+ 1 IIT director + 1 UGC member + 2 chairman of public sector( Oil/coal/power/road/highway etc.)+ head of FICCI + 1 enterprenuer(turnover basis) + 4 IAS officers nominated from states ( on rotational basis)

PLANNING COMISSION - CORRECT THE BACK LOG AND CORRECT DEFAULTS IN PROMOTIONS FOR WOMEN TO DIRECTORS LEVEL REGIONAL OFFICERS LEVEL IN GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENTS GOVERNMENT BANKS PRIVATE COMPANIES . INSPITE OF LARGE NUMBER OF WOMEN CANDIDATES WITH ACADEMICS AND SENIORITY ONLY ONE OR TWO FEMALE CANDIDATES COMPARED TO TEN OR FIFTEEN MEN IN DIRECTORS AND REGIONAL OFFICERS CONTROL RACIAL DISCRIMINATION BASED ON SKIN COLOUR

A- Agri. More than 50% of our population is saying proudly that they are kisaan.This is very much cruel truth that 30 % of this community is starved to maintain there daily lifes !And at least 10% of them are habbituate to sleep with half filled stomach. 1- To do its restructuring , diversion of our cream brain power to here , is important.At least we should try to make avail 1 agri expert for 1000 kisaans. 2-For water management re-start the project "Rivers union" or Nadiyan jodo abhyayan.Th

I can understand that to think to replace existing planning commission to new organization, is not a simple joke. Planning Commission must be replaced with Expert Commission. It should be with 6 members, headed by retired Supreme Court Judge, one MP from Ruling party, one retired IAS officer and three Experts from Energy, Agriculture and Health. This Expert Commission acts as a liaison for Central and State Governments and any issue has to be cleared in 100 days. Country GDP is likely to improve speedily like China.Budget release for State share should be fast. PM should review once or more in a month,
