Addressing his fellow Indians from the Red Fort on 15th August 2014 the Prime Minister called for replacing the Planning Commission with another Institution that is in sync with the modern times and most importantly in sync with the aspirations of 21st century India. The Prime Minister also emphasized on the important role the states have to play in taking the nation forward.

This forum invites your innovative ideas on what shape will this proposed institution take in terms of structure, composition and area of functioning. Another area of focus that requires your inputs is how this proposed institution can enhance Centre-State coordination and thus become a true celebration of India’s Federal Structure.

Can we have an STPs/non conventional energy plant at every 5kms to get clear all garbage. and produce some non conventional energy/gases to lite up our area/any useful purposes. Operational responsibilities lies with Municipal Commission/Development Authorities/Local Body/Gram Panchayats. It is a collective effort by central/state and local bodies.

One suggestion at least in metro maximum money transaction should go through bank , this we can achive by making all the transaction above 500 can be done using Cards(Credit/Debit) and none of the shop can refuse it and they can't charge extra on it, to achive this daily withdrawal limit should be lowered down and bank should charge minimum for card transaction and the card reader should be provided to the shopkeeper at minimum charge.

And the people who disobey traffic signal, must be severely punished by Traffic Police who should honestly and strictly perform their duty as I've myself seen on TV that several cars jumped Red SIGNAL in front of them but they did nothing. They must remain strict towards their duty and all the traffic signals in the country must be working. ONLY INSTALLING THEM IS NOT ENOUGH.. Regards. .

The Institution should have two department (short term planning and long term planning) Long term planning dept should concentrate on issue like remove poverty, power issue, agriculture issue, to stop floods and drought, Human resource Development where we want to be in next 20 yrs. Short term planning should try to concentrate on revenue generation, the infrastructure we have how to use them effectively, IT,communication etc,

Honourable PM, In the present scenario of India, traffic jam has became a serious cause of concern. It not only causes trouble to people but also causes accidents. It is my humble request to your good self and Hon'ble Transport Min. to install traffic signals everywhere throughout India (From Kashmir to Kanyakumari). And an inspector must inspect them at least twice a week to ensure whether they are working properly or not. CONTD..

Maybe, 'Integrated Planning and Followup Commission' ( Samanvit Nirantar Paramarsh Ayog) would help retain the essence of the institution and add weight to its meaning. With a dynamic P.M. like Modiji I guess his ideas would be sufficient to replace any such commission but since planning should not be a one time decision making rather it has to be done in an ongoing, integrated and planned manner, a slight modification would suffice. Anyhow, the first step to Management is proper Planning.

I would like to discuss on the Consolidation of Nationalised Banks in India. The Nationalised Banks are proposed to merge into four/ five Big Banks with SBI Associates merging with SBI. I feel that merging of four Banks into One Major Bank may not yield the desired results. Instead, Banks should be restructured in such a way that all the Housing Finance portfolioi is merged into one Bank, All the SME Finance Portfolio is merged into another Bank. The Large Corporates Finance is merged.
