Re Income Tax - Sir last year Section 139(4) and 139(5) were amended wef 01-04-2017 and accordingly effective from 1st April 2017 as per Section 139(4) return of AY 2016-17 can not be submitted as amended provision will apply however the memorandum says amended provision will apply from AY 2017-18. I think the proviso as inserted in 1987 is required to be inserted in both sub-section (4) and (5) to apply the old provisions for the returns filed upto AY 2016-17. Please look and clarify the matter

Dear sir, please provide some visible advantages for the tax payers.. its always we are paying huge taxes and in return getting nothing absolutely. to buy a 2 bed room flat,it is taking 20 years for us to close loans but with the tax money we paid government is giving 2 BHK flats for poor people free of cost. instead of 2 BHK for 1 poor guy, with same amount we can make 3 small houses and can be given for 3 poor people. with this we can achieve shelter for all goal soon
