To encourage JAN BHAGIDARI and to make the procedure of budget formation transparent, the Union Ministry of Finance has decided to invite suggestions for Union Budget 2017-18. As you may recall, this has been a regular feature on MyGov for the last two years.

Citizen from all walks of life are welcome to be a part of the budget making process. You can submit your suggestions either directly in the comments box or attach a PDF document.

Last year we had an overwhelming response with over 40,000+ suggestions for Union/ Railway budget. Several of the suggestions received on MyGov were incorporated in the last year’s budget. To know more about these, click here.

We seek your valuable ideas to continue the tradition of the Union Budget incorporating the citizens’ aspirations. The last date for submissions on this forum is 20th January, 2017.

Magic Pit – Mosquito FREE Villages – Challenge to show a mosquito & get Rs 100 - Invented by Tembhurni's (Nanded, MH) Sarpanch Shri. PRAHLAD PATIL - Expense is merely Rs. 2000/- per pit per house - Visited by various state officials & also included in MNREGA by central Govt. - No drainage in villages resulting no mosquitoes - Waste water percolated in soil– water table risen– resulting tanker free Suggestion– Central Govt should support & give 50% amount– Build 5-10 Cr such pits #MoF

1.Petroleum Products should be priced on cost plus processing charges for bringing down prices of all goods and services due to cascading effect. 2.Tax slab should be made simple by retaining all exemptions as it is by way of three slabs I.e., upto Rs.10,00,000 with tax rate of 10%, Rs 10 to 20 lakhs with tax rate of 20% and above Rs 20 lakhs with tax rate of 30 % for bringing everyone into tax net and levy of 20% tax rate on all cash transactions above Rs.50000.

Railway has 65000km track with 15 meter space reserved. This makes near about 2 lakh hectare land available. This can be used for solar panel installation. In beneath the solar panel can plant Agave or cactus having high suger content. This will give additional revenue. It also serve as fense to stop crossing of track by animals and people.

I would like to put reliance on the huge scrap of railways which may please be utilized for the electrification work in mission mode so that every class can get facilities of AC coaches universally like metro railways.

Dear FM, our PM told in the election meetings about "TAX terrorism". Please help India by reducing the Tax terror by reducing the income tax rate or other ways. Project management methodologies should be implemented on projects which helps to monitor the projects/program by delay of projects, escalation on costing.

National Diary development Board should promote our country COWs than promoting foreign breeds in India. Research on our country Cows & Dogs needs to be taken care and also Local / our Country breeds needs to be protected and promoted to international. This will generate lot of employment and generate huge foreign Reserve by generating Milk / Milk products.

to increase revenue and decrease black money govt must offer 5% refund of amount of gst paid n upload detail in a file of their itr as govt demands with the amount of purchase they made retailers gst no and amount they paid . if govt do this for next three years of max limit of say 1 lac everybody will demand bill of all purchase they made n all retailers will also pay tax properly n black money will automatically reduce without any issues create by anybody and every one will pay all the tax

please lower rate of interest on education loan.it is higher than home loan.if student takes education loan ,it should be lower than home loan.

મારુ સલાહ છે કે આપ ટ્રાન્સપોર્ટ પર નિગરાની રાખસો તો 2 નંબર માં માલ ની હેરાફેરી બંધ થઈ જાય, આપ જે ઇચ્છો છે વેપાર ટોટલ બિલ થી થઈ જાય અને તે આ સ્ટેપ થી બે નંબર બંદ થઈ જાય
