To encourage JAN BHAGIDARI and to make the procedure of budget formation transparent, the Union Ministry of Finance has decided to invite suggestions for Union Budget 2017-18. As you may recall, this has been a regular feature on MyGov for the last two years.

Citizen from all walks of life are welcome to be a part of the budget making process. You can submit your suggestions either directly in the comments box or attach a PDF document.

Last year we had an overwhelming response with over 40,000+ suggestions for Union/ Railway budget. Several of the suggestions received on MyGov were incorporated in the last year’s budget. To know more about these, click here.

We seek your valuable ideas to continue the tradition of the Union Budget incorporating the citizens’ aspirations. The last date for submissions on this forum is 20th January, 2017.

Sir do make some framework that can track what is delivered to Farmers as money or other help and how that is being utilized Digitally. We have to ensure and empower Farmers more so that they dont do suicide and more focus on production and Digital system will ensure they getting good price and middle men harassing them.

Sir, we all want the transparency in transactions by increasing more plastic money/digital payments so please remove transaction charges as many POS demands additional 1-2% charges. Also please relief Salaried Tax Payers and design tax bracket in a pay that more comes in without hesitation. NRI - please give some good savings/investment options for them. As of now limited Mutual Fund options available for USA NRIs. Strengthen Payment Gateways/Aadhar against hacks and data steal.

i wanted to start a business from past 1 year but can't due to fund shortage, pls make standards bring transparency in loan sanctioning process so that any one like me can start a new thing.

Respected, kindly think for new tax slabs as below... up to 2.50 lacks nill 2.51 to 5.00 lacks 5 % 5.01 to 10.00 lacks 10 % up to 15.00 lacks 15 % up to 20.00 lacks 20 % up to 25.00 lacks 25 % and above as same as corporate tax slab as decide and above 2.00 crores 2 % additional. it may easy to remember and it will increase participation in income tax. ALSO INCREASE 80/C DEDUCTIONS ON OTHER THEN CASH TRASACTIONS THANX

student earns knowledge, wisdom, talent (may be), but what is the use of that, being rewarded with penny salary, this is demotivating, companies earns in crores, owner of comp. become crorepati opens anthor 2-3 company/various company, withis short span of time, purchases bunglow, car etc. but employee keep working in thousand only. FOR COMPANY THERE IS INFLATION WHEN IT COMES TO PAY SALARY, IS THERE NOT INFLATION FOR EMPLOYEE/WORKER ?

respected sir, what is happening in india / bharatvarsh, at one place security guards are being paid minimum of rs. 25,000, considering them skilled worked, but on the other hand graduate from different field are being forced to work at rs. 7,000-8,000, even watchmen are earning minimum rs. 10,000 in hand, rikshaw drivers are earning rs. 15,000 per month, ola/uber cab drivers are earning minimum rs. 25,000 in a month, now time has come to take a decision where gradauates gets minimum pay. cont.

The pensions of leaders should be finish otherwise carry back the old pension for all kind of central government employee.This will grow the government faith of honesty in public.
